  • How long is an adequate time to wait after getting separated before dating again?

    I just got separated 6 weeks ago. Our relationship lasted 6 years. Looking back, even now, I know that my heart wasn't in it long before I left. I hadn't been happy for quite some time and I think I was staying for the convenience, and for the kids.

    Now I feel single again but don't know if I'm rushing into dating too soon? I'm not looking for or expecting another long term relationship, but a date would be nice, and I think I'm ready for that. Do you think it's too soon?
