I have a female leopard gecko. I need a name for it It has a purple head, blue eyes, a yellow body, and a white tail. Heres a picture http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/grd/281178719... Id like it if it could start with a L but its fine if it doesnt.

Well I really like the look of the blue dumpy tree frog (BDTF) but I have a few questions....

1. Can I feed it mealworms gutloaded, and with calsium? Does it eat fruit?

2. How big does the tank have to be for just one? Is a 10 gallon ok?

3. Can it be held? I have a tokay gecko and 2 firebelly toads, so im used to not holding things.

4. Can I have the humididy be to about 70? Or does he have to have a setup like firebelly toads with half water?

5. He is a tree frog so he needs stickes right?

6. I know im not soposed to mix species but... Can he live with a crested gecko, a tokay gecko, or a firebelly toad?

I got a new tokay gecko! Its my first one and I want to tame it (its possible!) I will use gloves. When I put my hand in the tank, I get to its level, and slide slowly. When Im about 5 inches away it moves back slowly, and when im 3 inches away, it bites me! It looks like it would hurt if I werent wearing gloves! What should I do to train it, or at least make it not bite me when I come close! HELP!

I got a firebelly toad, she has been living with another firebelly toad too. The other one has been a little agressive! They wressle a bit. I think they are both females cause their middle finger is alot longer than the others. Am I right? I just nodiced that one has only one eye! The non agressive one! Could the aggresive one took her eye out! Or did she come like that from the pet store and I just noticed! Should I make a hospital tank for her? Any infromation is helpful. Please say ANYTHING but "you should of taken her to the vet a long time ago!" Thanks!

Im not saying I will feed them it! I dont even have one yet, but I REALY want one! So I have some questions..

1. Long or tall cage?

2. Can I use a heat pad, or do I have to have a light.

3. Is a leo a good pet for a 10 year old and 14 year old, I have a crested gecko, and two firebelly toads!

4. How much do I need to feed them?

So I found a cheap little fish tank maybe 6 cups, About the size of a tupperware thing, I was wondering if I can put it in that. I'll feed him alge waffers, I'll put an air stone in it. Or, I can put him in a tank with Firebelly toads, please no stupid answers like, "Why did you even ask?" or something like that!

Hi! I was at the oc fair, and I won a gold fish, dont say anything like why, its gonna die!!! Well sorry!!!!!! So its the night after, He came with a very small tank. I think hes good for about a day without food. Can I put him in a bowl, like a 2 gallon bowl, with a lid, and air stone? and goldfish food? Hi, I own a crested gecko and im wondering if there is a automatic mister that I can buy for it, so when I go on vacation I can set a timer on it and it will mist the tank. I dont want to have to hire someone to come over to my house JUST to mist the gecko. Oh and im planning a vacation that will last like 4 days. So I need a mister that has a timer on it, mists not to much and is between 15 and 35 dollars. I know its alot to ask.

I have 3 cats, a dog and a crested gecko. Im not crazy or anything I am pretty young so I live with my mom and family. We work together taking care of the animals. They are really happy in there home. But I ALWAYS feel the urge to get another pet! Please help me find a way to make myself stop! My mom doesnt want any more pets, neither do anyone eles in my family. But I want a ghost shrimp! I would pay for it, take care of it and everything. I have done all the reaserch. HELP!

I got a crested gecko a month ago, the second I brought him home, he tried to climb up on the walls. He put his hand on the wall and he slipped right down. I held him to the wall, he grabed on stayed for about a half a second, then slipped down the wall. I made sure the humididy was around 80. and I made the walls dry. he stayed on the wall for about three seconds, then slipped back down. The last owner said he last shed about three months back, and he may be trying to shed again. A week later I found him under the paper towls. I think he might of shed, then ate his skin. He still isnt sticking to the walls. What should I do?
