What is the best tick removal medication for dogs?
Hello. I've just discovered two ticks on my dog. One of them is dead, but the other is alive. The second one looked fresh, and wasn't even attached to my dog's skin. I also found some brown dirt like stuff that I think are tick eggs. My dog is around 90 pounds, and about 2ft tall at least. I'd like to know what the best tick removal medication is. Something that...
- Kills ticks
- Prevents ticks
- Kills tick eggs
I have some Advantage but I've read that it doesn't kill ticks. Thanks from both my dog and I, in advance.

1 AnswerMathematics8 years agoWhich name do you like better for this dog?
http://edgarpicture.smugmug.com/Sample-Gallery
Here's a link to his picture. He's very gentle and cute, and he's super silly. He's also very human like in a way, and almost doesn't seem like a dog.
I was leaning towards royal names a little. So far I have Oliver and Sebastian. If I named him Oliver, his nickname would be Oli. His current name is Edgar.. Which I kinda hate but it's oddly fitting for him once you meet him. Which name do you like the best for him? Also, if you had any names in mind, that would help a ton. Thanks!

7 AnswersDogs8 years agoHow to pass a dog adoption home evaluation?
I'd really like to adopt this one dog I've had my eyes on for a while. It's the perfect dog for me and my family. The rescue agency wants to do a home evaluation however. I think that my house would be suitable for this dog, it's very big, and the yard is large and walled in with an inescapable wall. What I wanted to know is what do they look for in a house? What are some of the things I should not have in my house? I've adopted/rescued many dogs before who have all lived long healthy lives, but none of them required home evaluations. Thanks! No negativity please :)
5 AnswersDogs8 years agoVery unique names for a large white dog?
Hello!
I may be adopting a new dog soon and I need some names. He is a he... and he's very big, but slim. He's an Akbash. He's got a pure white coat, and is described as very gentle and kind. I like very unique foreign sounding names, and not the usual "Lucky" or "Fido". Thanks in advance!
11 AnswersDogs8 years agoSmall swollen are under my dog's right eye?
My dog is a male chihuahua/manchester terrier mix. I just noticed that directly under his right eye, it's swollen. There's no bleeding or anything unusual, it's just a big bump. He doesn't yelp or anything when I touch it. Could it be a bee/wasp sting? We do have bees and other insects that fly around our back porch, but he hasn't been let out in about an hour and I just now noticed it. Could it be a sting that was slowly swelling? What is it and what should I do to treat it, if anything? Many thanks from Bones (my dog) and me in advance! :)
2 AnswersDogs8 years agoCan you help me find some dragon names for a book I'm writing?
So I'm writing a fantasy book (not for school or anything, I just like to write for fun) and it's going to have 4 main dragons. There's going to be tons more dragons than that, but these 4 dragons are the important ones. Here's the descriptions for them.
Dragon 1 - Red scales with a few golden ones. The horns on his head are black and jagged. He's a little bit bigger than the others. He represents fire.
Dragon 2 - This dragon is white with a bluish tint. Her wings are made of feathers, and she has no horns unlike #1. She represents air.
Dragon 3 - This one is all blue, but has very large scales running along his back that are webbed, and look a little bit green. He doesn't have any wings, but his arms have webbed flippers on them. He lives underwater and represents, well, water.
Dragon 4 - He is light brown and looks similar to a dinosaur. The horns on his head are shape like a ram's. His wings are darker in color. He represents land.
So, any name ideas for these dragons? Thanks in advance!
6 AnswersBooks & Authors8 years agoA good family game to play with my friend?
We're looking for a multiplayer game where you can get married and have kids and whatnot. But we want to play together and start our own family together on the game. Also, we live in different states so it would have to be sort of like an online game.
Are there any games like this? Thanks!!
3 AnswersVideo & Online Games8 years agoRecipes for dog treats that help with bad breath?
Preferably without cilantro or mint or parsley, because I'm currently out of those, but I can go to the store and get some. I just really need something for my dog's breath, it's gotten very bad. Thanks!
5 AnswersDogs8 years agoIs this the right dog for me?
Hi! I am looking at adopting a 2 yr old female Aussie/Collie mix. According to the Pet Finder page, she is good with other dogs (which is good because I have a Chihuahua mix), very gentle, and a little shy. From what I've read, she doesn't seem to be as active as most Aussies/Collies, and she seems a little more mild. I've also seen videos and she looks very calm. So first I'll describe my house, and what I can do to take care of her, and then I was hoping for some feedback from you guys!
My house is two stories, 5 bedrooms, a loft, and is very decent in size. The backyard is a good size, and it's fit to run around in. Also, there's a big empty field straight down from my house, not far at all, that I like to take my current dog down to for his exercise (and mine, haha!). There's pretty much nothing behind my house except for big fields of desert (live in AZ). That's the space I have for exercise, walks, play time, and whatnot. I'm also home schooled, so I'm home ALL day. Except for the casual trips to the store and doctor of course. I have a lot of free time, and I dedicate a lot of it to my current dog, but I have plenty left over for another pup. I'm prepared for grooming, bathing, exercise, feeding, and all the basic important care. But there is one possible problem. My older brother and I do go away in the summer. Not for very long, usually just a week or sometimes two. I do live with my mom and step-dad though, so the dogs would stay there with them. They just won't get as much exercise and playtime during that time. Is this too big of a problem? Also, I do have a younger brother who is 6. But he is very good with my current dog, and knows to be gentle around animals. So, is this the right dog for me? Should I consider a different breed? Thanks in advance! I really do appreciate your time.

7 AnswersBaby Names8 years agoCould this be appendicitis?
I think it's just sore muscles but I'm not sure. I was doing some exercise the other night, just the basic 100 crunches, a few push-ups, and that's about it. Shortly after I got this pain on my right lower back, and partially on my side. Mostly on my back though. It only hurts when I walk around, climb up stairs, and if I stand and lean backwards that's when it hurts the most. I don't have any of the other symptoms (except for pain). The pain feels like muscle soreness though. My mother told me that my appendix is near where the pain is, but she didn't seem too concerned. Although I don't think she's ever had her appendix out. So I would like an opinion from someone with experience. Should I be concerned? I'm 13 btw, if that makes any difference. Thanks so so much! I'm really worried about this.

1 AnswerBooks & Authors8 years agoI need names for book characters pretty please :) ?
So I'm going to write a book about a female assassin and a mission she has to take care of. I need names though, and also I'm at a complete loss as to what this "mission" is going to be. I know exactly what you're thinking... Why am I writing a book when I don't even know what it's going to be about? Well, I get these strong feelings sometimes and I just HAVE to write a book. And I love the idea of an assassin... Anyways! Names please! I like names that are sort of medieval and unique. I need boy and girl names, so if you could give me a list maybe? :) Pretty please with a cherry on top! :D <3 Thanks!

They had a trailer out for the last movie waaaayy before the movie itself came out. And if they do have a trailer, I would appreciate if someone could give me the link to it? Thanks!
3 AnswersMovies9 years agoSharp, short, painful headaches? Help please?
So I have been getting these very painful headaches lately, but the last for like 10 seconds. It happens on the left side of my head, near my temples. They are extremely painful. I've noticed that it usually happens around the same time, about 10pm. What happens is that I usually watch tv around that time in my room, and when I go to get water or something in the kitchen I run back to my room because I don't want to miss my show. And it always happens when I'm running or moving around a lot. I think they might be ice pick headaches. What do you think? Thanks in advance.
2 AnswersPain & Pain Management9 years agoTell me what you think of the first chapter of my book?
Here it is:
http://www.wattpad.com/7446476-finding-the-creator
I already have like 5 chapters but this is the only one I've put on wattpad so far. I'll go ahead a post the first chapter here too:
Chapter 1
The sound of clattering dishes woke me with a startle. Was Violet trying to make breakfast by herself again? I trudged to the kitchen like a Zombie. Nope, not a Violet in sight. What was making that noise then? I poured a glass of water and then walked back to my room, carelessly letting the water spill over the sides of the glass. I kept thinking I could hear footsteps behind me, but I just guessed I was being paranoid. Then I heard breathing, not my own, and I knew someone was there. I turned around and pushed the air behind me, and sure enough, it was Ares. He appeared out of thin air, laughing his head off. I smacked him. He was always going invisible and trying to scare me. It gets old after the hundreth time. He struggled to stop laughing, but failed mutiple times. "Ares, you're such a pain." I snapped. For a response, I got more laughter. He always knows how to anger me. "Oh, stifle it Ares!" I said. "You can never take a joke, loosen up." He replied. I scowled at him and then stomped off. I hate when he uses his abilities to prank people. If you couldn't tell already, Ares has the ability to make himself invisible whenever he wants. Completely invisible. He's not the only one with "powers", Violet and I have them too. I'm a Shifter, I can make myself look like anyone I want to, anytime. Violet can create fire and is also fireproof. And she can see little bits of the future sometimes. So there ya have it, a bunch of weird mutant kids. Speaking of weird mutant kids, where's Violet? Whenever she's not in her room, she's usually outside. I stomped over to the front door, so Ares would still know that I'm mad at him, and went outside. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a little dot in the field of tall grass. I sprinted over to it, and found Violet sitting in the field, tearing grass out of the plush ground. "Violet? What are you doing out here?" I asked gently. She shrugged. "What's wrong?" I asked, sounding slightly more urgent. It's unlikely of her to go out in the field unless she's feeling a little down. "I-I had a vision. A vision of like, you know, the future. And in the vision, I... I don't want to talk about it." She had such a soft voice. But then again, she was only ten years old. I was sixteen, and Ares was almost seventeen. "Come on Violet, you can tell me anything." I said. "In my vision, I saw... Venus, Nikolai, and Maksim."
By the way, this is only the first chapter so you'll have no clue who Venus, Nikolai, and Maksim are, but if you keep checking on wattpad then I'll post more. :)
