  • can all government employees retire after 20 years of service?

    My mother has worked for the US Postal Services for 11 or more years and then went on to work for the county we live in (which is also a govt job) for 13+ years. I know that when you are in the military 20 years you can retire with all your benefits so I was wondering can she retire with all her benefits now. She turned 57 this year.   • I was discharged from the Navy with an RE 4 how do I get back in?

    I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder 1 week into boot camp and I have an RE 4 with erroneous entry on my DD214.They claimed I had bipolar disorder before I came to the Navy. I really wanna get back in and my doctor says that I can so what do I do to get my code changed?

    I was discharged with a medical condition that they said i had since i was young but basic "triggered" it. Now I'm working on getting medical documents to clear me from that diagnosis.What else could i posssibly do to rejoin?

    O.k. I leave for RTC in a month,I joined when I was a junior(17) in high school and managed to get 5 other people to join the Navy so I got advanced to E-3. I know the Sailor's Creed and my 11 General Orders of a Sentry, and I'm also in good shape.I plan on being a leader in my division. So what are some pros and cons about going to basic with rank?

    Is it because he's black or because he just might become America's next president.All these years the presidents have had their ups and downs,many more downs than ups.   • What clothes do they issue you in navy boot camp?

    I know that they give you a lot of stuff at boot camp and I just wanted to know what they actually give you. Please be as specific as possible. I've tried rtc and navy websites and they didn't help.
