Wrongfully accused of a hit & run, what to do?
So a few weeks ago, I got into a car accident going home from a really bad hail storm, the lady and I decided it was minimum damage and only filed a police report. I had a passenger with me during the time of the accident and she recorded the whole thing unfolding. Now earlier, I had someone in my apartment came up to me and accuse me of hitting her car and having a witness. She also threatened me that she called the police and I was going to jail for a hit and run, but then I called the police after the whole thing and the operator told me that there was NO Hit and Run report in my area involving my BMW. I did not get a good look at her car because she sped away before I can do anything but from what I can tell, there was no significant damage on the left side of her car. I know this question is kind of straight forward but I'm kind of oblivious and would like to know what steps I can take so I don't get wrongfully accused.
1 AnswerLaw & Ethics6 years agoWhy is my first paycheck so low?
I started my job a week ago. I just finish working 5 days w/ 5 hour shifts each (3 days of that was training). i get pay 8.50 an hour which, if i'm right, comes out 212.5 (not including tax). so why is my paycheck 40 dollars? We get paid every 2 week, and in my case, i started on pay week. I know taxes doesn't take out 4/5 of your paycheck.
