Im kind of confused. Why does our body not produce prion antibodies?
Apparently a certain biondustrial website sells variants of the prionanti body, but do they even exist, and if so,why do diseases such as CJD have no cure?
Are we close to finding drugs for discreet diseases such as these, or does medicine have a long way to go?
Also, is it not shocking that some serious diseases such as this one are transmitted latrogenically, or is this to be expected in medicine forever?

If killer t cells also target viruses which have taken human cells as host, then why do killer t cells not destroy cells which are host to, for example, the HIV virus?
