A friend and I have two days in Shanghai in November. We have both been to China a few times before, but never Shanghai. Things we enjoy include: night markets, true Chinese cooking and temples / artifacts. Shopping is NOT big on our list. We know we could spend weeks in Shanghai, but we just have a few days, so we hope to make the best of it. We plan to hire a guide for at least one day, maybe both. What “must do things” should we put on our list? Any recommendations for a guide? Is it better to get a car and driver or just work with taxis?

I am looking for a decent beginners DJ / Mixing deck, any recommendations?

I am thinking something along the lines of a Cortex DMix300 or maybe a Numark IDJ2. I am old enough to let the vinyl go, but want to keep some tactile input. I don’t mind feeding off a laptop, but I want some decent job wheels with real play.

I would like to stay under $1000.00 USD for the full rig.
