  • Installing F6 Drivers AFTER OS install ?

    Hi,

    I have XP 32bit installed, i am changing the motherboard/ram/cpu.

    I want to keep my installed OS.

    I need a way to get the sata controller drivers (F6 Floppy Type) on without getting the blue screen, or having to re-install completely.

    Old Mobo = KN8ultra, New Mobo = EVGA 680i sli

    any ideas?

  • Networking Puzzle ?? - Guru Needed..?

    Hi,

    I have 2 PC's & 2 Broadband connections.

    Both connections work fine.

    PC1 = 2 onboard lans, 1 connected to cable and 1 connected to router (lan going to adsl/router is disabled)

    PC2 = 1 lan connected to adsl/router.

    Router is connected to adsl connection.

    My Question = Why, when i am downloding files on PC2 (adsl/router), does it affect my internet use on PC1 (cable).

    It is a puzzle to me as i think that they should be working independantly of each other as 1 is ADSL and the other Cable, and as the lan connection is disabled on PC1, it is effectively disconnected from the adsl/router.

    It just doen't make sense, What am i missing..??
