my doctor has just prescribed me a small dose of zoloft for major depression in pregnancy - how ever im not sure i want to take it after reading all the availalbe information i could find on it. has anyone ever take zoloft during pregnancy and what were your experiences, im 27 weeks pregnant

at birth he was 4375g (9lb 10oz) or 4.375kg @ 4mths he weighed 8.3kgs

hey guys not so much a question just want some experinces, im being induced on monday morning.. Yay after 3 long weeks of assements, little background....

I have severe hypertension im 38 weeks and im being medicated.. went to a specialist today and they agreed the my baby is big and mature enough to be born so there is no need to put it off any longer.... today i had a stretch and sweep and am schulded for prostin gel on monday morning.... im nervous and i just want to know what you all went through when you were induced.. thanks in advance

thanks in advance. well im 36 weeks by the doc's date but by my dates im 38 weeks, over the last couple of days i have been getting period like pains in my lower belly that come and go, nothing too serious, but today i noticed my belly hardening, its not too painful and isnt regular but they dont feel like braxton hicks, i havent been able to sleep and i need to go to the toilet all the time... i havent lost my mucus plug nor has my water broken but i feel different and the midwives told me only 25% of people lose their muscus plug before active labor... im really confused as they have been on and off all day.... any advise would be great as this is my first and i dont want to go running around crazy, when it really isnt anything at all lol

i have my 35 weeks appt today (although i think im 37weeks not 35) they think i have a big baby, when will they start checking for dialation and effacement. this is my first so i dont really know what to expect

whats the difference between a placenta that belongs to a smoker vs a non smoker is there any difference??

my due date is currently at 27th may 2008 which makes me 32 weeks and 2 days, however when i first found out i was pregnant the doctor told me i was only 6 weeks, which didnt sit right with me as i was using a fertility monitor and knew my exact date of LMP and Ovulation which whould of put me at 8 weeks (LMP aug 11 2007). i had a scan yesterday and the ultrasound tech said that my baby was big measuring 34 weeks and 1 day, which is exactly the 2 weeks off i thought i was also my fundal height measurement since 26 weeks has been 2-3 weeks ahead, my question is do you think the doctor will change my due date based on this information or could it be i just have a big baby.. i feel as though my dates should change because i just know when my LMP and I feel further along then 32 weeks..... anyone had similar, didnt change dates but had their baby earlier anyway?? is it wrong for me to stick to 34 weeks???

oh my goodness, regardless of looking at a millon websites, asking family and friends i still can not for the life of me work out what to put in our bags, i have pregnacy brain really bad everyone is saying all the same things. my question is, are you able to add anything that you took that wasnt on the never ending lists that you found helpful and anything that is on all the list that you didnt even use... thanks in advance and im hoping to get mmy bag done today!!!!

hey everyone thanks in advance just looking for some opinions...

2 nights ago i woke with some pains in my stomach sort of like really faint cramps, i dismissed it as a braxton hick contraction went back to sleep. however when i woke the next day i had the same pains a little bit more servere, my stomach tightened this happened about 5 times in the morning, but during the day yesterday my lower tummy had an ache all day and the same "contraction like" pains were on and off, every time they come i get a wave of nuesea (spelt that wrong, sorry) straight after the pains my baby is very active... i dont know what it is or what to do this is my first pregnancy and im only 29 weeks it hurts to sit up or roll over on my side but when im on my back there isnt any aching...

thanks in advance everyone i just have a few questions about my baby shower... im not too sure whats going on and my hosts have never thrown one before either my questions are;

1. do you open the gifts when you recieve them or do you wait until everyone is there and do them all at once (i believe its the latter)

2. when do you do the cake before/after games/gifts

3. what would be some good gifts for prizes when my guest win the games!!!

im on my feet 8 1/2 - 9 hrs a day and i walk to and from work!!!

anyone else doing this and feeling ok?? i feel like crap all of the time and my feet hurt so bad not to mention the back pain and the fact i only have cover at work for 3 hrs a day!!!! im getting so frustrated, tired and worried. When i get home i do NOTHING and i think that annoys my husband.. any advice

is it normal to sweell when you wake up... I swell bd by the end of the day which i know is normal, but im only 23 weeks and from the time i wake up my feet and hands are so swollen its hard to walk... no shoes fit me anymore and even my flip flops are getting too tight.. (odd i know) I dont know what to do to combat this or if it's even normal help please

just in the last couple of days i have noticed my belly has become really really dry is this the first step to strech marks?? although im not really worried about them, its all part and parcel of having a baby, i was just wondering if thats the reason? ive just started using cocca butter formula with collagen ive heard thats the best... let me know

i just found out the other day my baby has SUA doc said so far he's perfectly healthy and no to worry too much, however i did some research and omg that stuff is scary anyone with the same problem and had a healthy baby??

my brain does not seem to want to work at the moment, im sure you all understand lol

just had my 20 week appointment today and found out the umbilical cord only has 2 vessels, one to carry blood in and one to carry blood and waste out, doc said it can cause kidney problems later on i have to have another scan at 32 weks anyone slese had this or similar

im 19 weeks pregnant and i have had trouble working for awhile now, i have had bad back problems before i got pregnant however they haven worsened to the extent that i am finding myself leaving work after 2 hrs... i manage a clothing store so my job is on my feet all day, i used to be able to pop some valium and carry on as some what normal but now obviously i cant. i need to use a wlking stick when im not at work and most days i have trouble rolling out of bed. my real problem is that i cant afford to not work and have sick days as i have no realiable staff, the stress of hiring and firing is again way too much and i just dont know what to do. i dont feel sick its a mobility problem and i dont think work understand.....

werid question i know, i was just wondering if anyone had pictures of their 18 week u/s they can share and if they can remember how long their baby measured.. thanks

hey everyone, this is not so much a question but i have to let it out!! Iam miserable..... I feel like crying all the time, work is getting to hard and i have already got an enormous about of back problems (before the pregnancy) i know its hormones and all the rest but i feel so bad all the time im only 15 weeks and 5 days all i want to do it busy my head in a pillow and not worry about the outside world.. omg is this normal?? i ache all the time i can bearly stand anymore which sucks as i have a job where im on my feet 8 hrs a day.... i just dont know what to do... before i got pregnant all i wanted to be was pregnant, before this pregnancy i had 2 miscarriages and i thought id be over the moon... but im not!!!!

at how many weeks generally do pregnant women start showing, im aware that every pregnancy is different and all the rest of it but just as a guide please
