I just started high school (today), and at lunch, I found out that one of my friends is on a diet. She is already one of the thinnest girls in the grade and a super intense ballerina. I understand that she might want to advance in ballet but this deeply concerns me. I don't really suspect a full blown eating disorder, but I just don't feel like it's right. Her diet before had been balanced perfectly, and now she only eats a little bit, and only vegetables. I'm not sure what to do, because I don't think it's serious enough to report and I can't convince her to stop.

Okay, so this may not be a fair comparison, since only one of Noel's songs has been released ("The Death of You and Me"). But, which do you prefer? Personally, I like Beady Eye, but they can do much better. The song "Beatles and Stones" kind of turned me against them because it's obvious plagiarism of "Leave My Kitten Alone". At the same time, "The Death of You and Me" does sound like "The Importance of Being Idle", but I still think it's pretty good.

For commenting on websites on the Spartz Network (i.e. Six Billion Secrets, Unfriendable, Omg Facts), you must have a disqus account. I didn't feel like registering, so I was able to log on through my Gmail. The option for logging on through Gmail just disappeared one, and so I'm not sure if there's another way to access my account through Gmail?

Sorry if this is at all confusing...

So, this may be kind of long. I am in 8th grade, so I guess this really is the year when girls are the bitchiest. I have been friends with some of the people I sit at lunch with since 2nd grade. I used to be the most popular kid in my group of friends (who aren't popular), but lately they've been ignoring me. I guess I have been getting annoying lately talking a lot, but my friends have made it awkward for me to even have a conversation with them. I have always been the one that everyone gangs up on, but it used to be a joke. There is especially one girl, Emily, who is just a typical *****, and I feel that she corrupted many of my "friends". She has been harassing me nonstop lately, calling me ugly and asking if I spent a lot of my time at home talking to myself. Then, like every class-act *****, she would say "Sorry, JUST KIDDING" and many of my "friends" will laugh. The only reason I am staying in public schools, was to stay friends with my best friend since 2nd grade. She spends all her free time outside of school in ballet class, so I never get to hang out with her. But, when she became friends with Emily like a month ago, she has been ignoring me since. I know that I should make new friends but there is only 100 kids in our grade, half of whom are going to private schools next year. My group of friends are actually the nicest compared to most of the girls, and the few girls in my grade who aren't bitchy I have absolutely nothing in common with or they are going to a private school next year, and it would just be awkward. The boys in my grade don't want anything to do with me as I am quiet and above the influence. I have barely any time for activities outside of school because of homework. I am just trying to survive 8th grade with depression, and I am crying my eyes out everyday out of fear for high school. I know I sound helpless, and I really am so..help?
