My HP Pavilion dv7 laptop is about a year old. it has an intel i5 2.4ghz processor and 4g of RAM. Problem is that it is extremely slow. I mean worse than dial up and I have to wait almost a minute to get online. I am thinking that i should have more memory. I have tried everything i can think of, but still very slow. Any ideas?

I have an automate remote car starter for my 2005 Chev. Malibu. Model is RPN 474A, but FCC numbers ends with 474V. Today, the car began starting by itself without pushing any buttons. Anyone know why this happens? I have removed the batter from the remote to be safe.

Okay, my first mistake was to get windows 8. However, now that I have it, the only tile that works is the map. Nothing else works except the tiles for my apps along the right half of the screen. I upgraded from windows 7 and I am beginning to think it was a mistake. Anyone having this same problem? If you did, were you able to fix it?

I am able to leave the cold weather for two months and would like to rent a motor home for the drive to Florida and back. This would be from the middle of January to the middle of March. However, most I have seen are way over my budget. Anyone have any suggestions for something inexpensive?

Why do people ask questions here rather than ask their doctor? Why do they ask if they should take their pet to a vet instead of just taking the poor thing in for treatment? Why do they ask what color dress or shirt? Why do they ask what to get their boyfriend or girlfriend for their birthday? Do we know them better? Are some people so helpless and so needy that they can't think for themselves? If your dog gets hit by a car and has several bones protruding through its skin... why do you come to this forum to ask what to do?

If you are 5'4 and weigh 115 pounds.. no your are not fat, and if you think you are, then go on a diet and get some exercise.
