I've been deleting a bunch of my files on my mac recently but when I go back to the file where I deleted something from it is still there. It's like it's deleting but it isn't really. With the version after I deleted something the second thing can't be deleted. There isn't an option to move to trash or anything. When I try opening one of the files it says something along the lines of "you can not open this file because the alias can not be found. I'm really getting frustrated over this and I really want to clean up my mac. Any ideas or fixes would be very appreciated! Thanks.

Hey, My name is Aaron, I'm sixteen. I've been wanting to play multiplayer for a while but none of my friends play Minecraft. Plus, I hate playing on big servers. So I've been looking for one or more people who would be interested in playing on a private survival server.

I have a great seed for survival. It's a medium sized island with plenty of resources and animals. It has a MASSIVE amount of underground exploration to do. Access to any biome if you're willing to travel a little bit (including mushroom island).

I don't plan on adding any mods, but I might consider something that would add more adventure or survival aspects. I would consider myself pro at Minecraft. I have a couple of good stories if you're interested. I'm a great builder but I don't like doing anything crazy big. I'm a really nice and friendly person. good sense of humor. I'd like for this to be a small private server, probably no more than five people. I want it to be a group kind of a server where we stick together and whatever. I don't know. I just want some people who want to play minecraft and have a good time join the server.

I am a Theist and this should be under religion and spirituality but the answers on there are always very negative. I can't stand all the BS that goes on in R&S. Anyways, I came up with this "theory" while watching a video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&feature=endscree...

The video gives the viewers a challenge to argue for one of the these three statements.

A) Nothing -> Universe -> Higher Power -> Life -> Humanity

B) Nothing -> Higher Power -> Universe -> Life -> Humanity

C) Nothing -> Universe -> Life -> Humanity -> Higher Power

I personally didn't agree with any of them. The reason being I don't see how anything can come from nothing (a literal nothing). Many Christians claim that God has always existed which I do agree with. However I ways wondering if there was something that could explain what that actually meant (to some extent anyways). I first was thinking about the term of existence. Most people say that all of existence is in this box/space/area of which all of existence is and belongs to. and outside of this box there is nothing (a literal nothingness). So a string of questions came into my mind. (from a theist perspective)

Does God exist inside the box?

If so, Is God incapable of being outside of the box?

If so, Is God really all powerful?

If God is all powerful then could he exist outside of the box?

Did God or the box come first?

If the box came before God then God is subject to the box, correct?

If God came before the box then God is truly all powerful, correct?

This is where I started to get lost a little bit. This is mainly what I want your opinion on. Did God come before the box or is it the other way around? I want your reasoning for why you believe what you believe and I would also like to hear what you would have to say in result to your answer being correct.

example: I think God came first which would mean this which would mean this. so on and so forth. (just try and make a point).

This argument is supposed to be made with the thought that God does exist. If you do not believe in God would you at least humor me and tell me what you would think if he did exist? Please no BS like I get in R&S. I don't want any of that and no one else does either.

The pain started yesterday late at night, I don't think there was anything I ate that would have caused an allergic reaction, but then again, maybe I did. (I'm not allergic to anything as far as I know). The pain is a sharp ache. It almost feels like a normal soar throat but it's about five times worse. It almost feels like there is a stick in my throat that stretches from around my adams apple down to my chest. If I use any muscles in my throat, like if I were to cough or hiccup it would send a really sharp pain and feels like it immobilizes my throat at whatever part of my throat was moving. If I lean my head back a little it helps ease the pain a little (not a lot). I tried drinking water to help, but It didn't change anything at all. I don't think it's a basic soar throat because the pain is a lot worse than any soar throat I've ever had.

I really just want to figure out what the problem is. It's driving me crazy. So if you think you might know what it could be please tell me and also tell me what some ways of treating it would be. If you know why this is happening then please tell me the cause of the pain as well. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! Best answer is whatever helps me get rid of the pain. (not just pain medication, I want something to treat me and fix the problem).
