  • Strange Sims 2 load screen behavior, impairs gameplay. Can you help?

In the Sims 2, when I load it, it stops at "Replacing Wheel Bearings". Then, the game becomes unresponsive, but doesn't crash. I tried taking out the download folder and trying again, then it worked. I started again with fresh downloads I have never used, and it again stopped on "Replacing Wheel Bearings". Obviously, the game is having issues with the Downloads folder, but what could be wrong with it? Please be detailed and give instructions on how I can fix it.

  • Internet sound problem?

Sometimes, when I boot up the Internet, the sound will be messed up. If I try to load a website with sound, the sound doesn't play. For instance, on Youtube, when I watch a video, the sound doesn't play and the video doesn't continue. Also, on Myspace, any songs on profiles don't play, either. This problem only exists when I'm on the internet, and I check all the settings with mute and volume, and the Internet tool settings that says something like "Play sounds from sites". Help, please!

  • Where can I find the address of Ivan Moscovich, author of 1000 Play Thinks?

I have a book called "1000 Play Thinks", otherwise known as "The Big Book of Brain Games". I've solved a problem that is said to be impossible, and I really want to write to him. Where can I find his address, and if you know, then what is it? If you can't find that, then what is the address of Ian Stewart, co-author?

  • I have a big ball of string. What should I do with it and how?

I know how to crochet, but I've already done 2 5-foot-long crochets. What else could I do with a length of string? How do you do it? I don't care if it is time consuming or not.

  • Okami? What's it like?

I've heard of this Japanese game, but I've never played it. I'm looking for reviews and ratings, but I haven't seen much. Does anyone have this? Is it worth the money? This game is for PS2.

  • Should I buy a Wii?

I'm having an argument with myself. Should I buy the Wii? Or should I save my money for something bigger and better? I love to play games, and I've been pushing myself to save up for it. But my dad suggests I save up for something like a laptop. Should I buy a Wii? Or should I save more? What else (well worth my money) could I buy with roughly $300?

  • What does the fraction on the bottom right hand corner of a Pokemon card mean? (ie Tentacool's fracion 77/101)

My friend suggests that the number on the right means how many of the card was made, and the left means which one it was. This isn't true because I have more than one of various cards and all of the Pokemon that are the same have the same fraction. Does anybody know what this fraction means?
