What DSLR and glass to buy?
I am pretty new to the DSLR game and am looking for a nice starter setup to start learning the true hobby of photography. Here are my needs.
Price: 1100.00
MP size: At least 10MP.
Lense: I would like to start with a primer lense to equal a film 50mm lense. I know that the lense will vary with various multipliers 1.6 vs 2.0
and last but not least, must have a solid build. I would like to stay away from a "plastic feel" camera.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

2 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks1 decade agoHtml help!?
Ok, so what I want to do is to add a print option on my website that will allow people to print an excel doc that is being hosted on my site. People can just click on the "print" option and the file will be printed. Anyone have the HTML code for how to do this? I have a HTML version of the same doc that has been modified with bigger fonts for easier viewing on the site. The document that prints out would be the original doc.
Thanks!

1 AnswerSoftware1 decade agoTire Sizes?
Just a quick question regarding tire sizes.
Are 205/40Z/R17 the same as 205/40/R17 ?
Notice that the second tire spec in missing the Z after 40.
Does the Z have nothing to do with tire size? Is it just a name brand thing?
thanks!

3 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks1 decade agoWireless USB cable extender?
So here is the question.
I have a HTPC (home theatre PC) setup using a 802.11G USB wireless adapter. I then have a 802.11G wireless router connected to my DivX/DVD server located in a different part of the house. Now, I am connecting at around 46Mbps but want to connect at the full 54Mbps that 802.11G has to offer.
I know that If I can move my USB wireless adapter closer to the router by just a few feet (well maybe five or so feet) I can achieve this as my laptop is constantly connecting at this speed and is roughly five or so feet closer to my server.
So, If I were to buy a USB cable extender to place the Wireless USB adapter closer to my router, would I actually be loosing bandwith? due to a possible bottle neck in the extender? make sense?
Any feedback is welcomed.
Cheers!

4 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agomy 3 year old does not want to play sports?
My 3 year old son has always been at home with mom watching him. He is enrolled in preschool and I also got him into a soccer league. At first, he was extremely shy and did not want to participate. I figured this was a phase and would pass. It has been nearly 1 month and still no progress. There is a playground at the soccer field and at every practice he runs straight to the playground and never joins his team for practice. I have tried everything to encourage him to participate. I do not want to force/traumatice him by continuing to insist that he play soccer. I am thinking of taking him out from the team and maybe waiting another year before I try it again. Anyone else have the same issues or have had the same issues? and how did you deal with the issue?
Any ideas or advice will be welcomed!
Thank you

2 AnswersMovies1 decade agoDVD Storage question?
I am slowly building up my dvd library and have gotten into the high hundreds! In order to conserve storage space I have thrown out all of the hardcases and have placed my dvd's into dvd binders. I have now filled up 3 of the 250 capacity binders and need more storage space.
I have all of my DVD's cataloged on my computer. I enter a movie title and then my program assigns a number to it. Example: DVD Starwars=number567
I can alphabatize my movies but the number would stay the same. This way, I could look up Starwars and I would goto slot 567 and retrieve the movie.
Problem: Where to put all of these movies! How can I store them (aside from dvd binders) so that all of my DVD's are in one place. Like a huge box or something. Anyone have any ideas or experience with massive DVD storage?
Oh.. it would have to be something that I can keep in my livingroom.
Thanks!
Cheers!
