1 AnswerHair1 decade agoShould man help woman or should he continue working?
A man and woman work at home. The woman suddenly has shooting pains in her shoulder and cannot lift her arm. This goes on for several minutes. Woman goes to man telling him what is going on, and asking for his help. Man ignores woman and continues to work and make phone calls. Woman is upset at man for not stopping and helping her. Man says "there is nothing I can do to help you, I am busy I have to continue working" and then continues to work and ignor woman. Woman continues to have pain and cannot move.
Should man have stopped working to help woman? Or should working and making money be more important?

If you mirror your hard drive on another hard drive in case of a crash that makes your hard drive unusable, wouldn't the mirrored hard drive have the same problem that the crashed hard drive has??

4 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks1 decade agodisable McAfee during yahoo messanger Phone In calls?
I signed up for Yahoo Messangers Phone In and Phone Out services. I learned that I have to disable my McAfee firewall while I am talking, otherwise the calls are not clear. I have to manually open my McAfee and temporarily disable it everytime I send/receive calls. This is kind of a pain, I was wondering if there was a setting that will automatically disable my firewall so I dont have to open and disable the firewall everytime someone calls. Is this possible? Thanks

I have Windows Vista. In my Network and Sharing center the Network Discovery option is turned on for my internet connection. This confuses me. I would think that my computer being able to see other network computers and devices and is visible to other network computers would be bad and and a security risk. I don't know if I should turn it off??

Does anyone know the song that played at the beginning of the movie "Trust the Man" with David Duchovny? It says something about "you are my everything".

11 AnswersOther - Hardware1 decade agoTrying to get data off crashed hard drive with a hard rive casing?
My compaq computers hard drive stopped working. It would start up, and I would see Windows for a second, and then it would stop and then start up again. it would do this over and over again. I bought a new Dell computer that has a SATA drive so I couldn't install the old hard drive to it. So I bought a hard drive casing to put the drive into to see if I can salvage the files. The drive is not coming up, it just gets stuck. It's as if the computer wants to read the drive, it just keeps spinning but nothing comes up on my comuter except the backup drive with the 10 gigs on it. The main drive with the 120 gigs will not come up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

I have a new computer with Vista installed and when I walk away for awhile it goes into sleep, but then it will not come out of sleep. I have to power it off by either pulling the power cord or pressing the power off button. Has anyone heard of this problem and is there a fix to it?
Thanks
