  • Should I cave, or should I stand strong?

Here's the story: My girlfriend started out as this nice, sweet, loving individual. Slowly over time, she became more and more demanding and more bossy to me. While I am not uncaring or unattentive, I do not tolerate bossy women. I am a MAN and will not be treated as a child. I told her this and she told me that until I straighten up, she didn't want to see me anymore. This was 5 days ago. I miss her, but I will not give up who I am. What do you think I should do? Cave in and crawl back, or stand strong and be the man I am?

  • Do you know what makes your spouse, partner, bf/gf feel loved?

I am posting this because most of you out there haven't got a clue. I continually read posts that say: Why is he cheating on me, what is missing, why does she treat me that way...ad nauseum.

Here is the secret of how to have a full and lasting relationship. Pay attention, you need to ask questions (of your partner).

What we all want, and what we will keep throwing away perfectly good partners to try and get, is to feel loved. If you are in a relationship that makes you feel loved, what else could you find that you would replace it with?

The problem is: we don't know what makes our partner feel loved. We assume that it is the same thing that makes US feel loved, but it's NOT.

You have to ask them what makes them feel loved. Don't be surprised if even they don't know. It then becomes a journey of discovery. Let them know what makes YOU feel loved.

When you find out what it is for your partner, push that button as often as you can. Because they will do it also back to ya.

  • Construction site....Hilarious Joke!!!?

An Italian, an Irishman and a Chinese fellow are hired at a Sydney construction site.

The foreman points to a huge pile of sand and says to the Italian guy, "You're in charge of sweeping."

To the Irishman he says "You're in charge of shoveling."

To the Chinese guy, "You're in charge of supplies."

He then says, "Now, I have to leave for a little while. I expect you guys to make a dent in that there pile."

So the foreman goes away for a couple hours, but when he returns the pile of sand is untouched.

He says to the Italian: "Why didn't you sweep any of it?"

The Italian replies in a heavy accent, "I no gotta broom, an' you tella me dat de Chinese'a guy supposa bringa da supplies, but he disappear and I no finda him."

Then the foreman turns to the Irishman and asks why he didn't shovel.

The Irishman replies in his heavy brogue, "Aye, that ye did, but I couldn't get meself a shovel. Ye left the Chinese fella in charge of supplies, but I couldn't fin' him."

The foreman is really angry now, and storms off looking for the Chinese guy.

He can't find him anywhere and is getting angrier by the minute.

Just then, the Chinese guy springs out from behind the pile of sand and yells... "Supplies!!"

  • How important is "Respect of others" to you?

I have seen a lot of comments on here about poor spelling and grammar. Those who do not use good spelling and grammar either out of choice or capability are visibly losing the respect of others as indicated by the comments they receive. If your opinion/answer on here is disregarded because of your spelling/grammar issues, resulting in loss of respect for your answer, it raises the question "what's the point?"

While I personally feel that everyone's opinion is worth hearing, I do consider that the answer given does lose credibility if the person answering doesn't comprehend the language enough to use the spell checker. But, the situation can exist that the lack of respect for their answer just doesn't matter to the answerer, just as long as they can see their answer in print. So...just how important is the "respect of others" to you?

  • Who came up with the first accurate method for determining the square root of a number?

Believe it or not, the method incorporates guessing the answer yet in only 3 steps it is > 90% accurate no matter what number you guess if you use the resulting answer for the next step. In 6 steps it is > 99.99 % accurate (using worst case). Hint: it is 2000 years old.
