1 AnswerOther - Food & Drink1 decade agoStupid questions?
Why is it that the Philippines section of Yahoo! Answers travel forum seems to be the one with the most stupid irrelevant questions, 80% of them having absolutely nothing to do with travel.
Most of the questions are about gossip, politics, religion or food.
Does anybody posting such stupidity realise that all their questions are also viewed on the worldwide section of Travel in general?
How do you all think the rest of the World views the moronic stuff that appears on this site. Do you really think Filipinos will become known for their knowledge and intelligence in this way.......

Can it be done easily or do I have to type in each address/mail individually?
2 AnswersCalendar and Contacts1 decade agoWhy does Yahoo put an american flag next to United Kingdom at the bottom of this page?
It should be the other way around if anyone has a sense of history, and the mistakes that can happen through the ages.
Imagine how much more intelligent and worldly wise americans would be if they hadn't made the mistake of going on their own!
22 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade ago4 days, 3 nights - 3 days, 2 nights. Isn't that annoying?
It should be obvious to anyone with a brain that 4 days involves 3 nights, why waste time and printing ink with silly extra words, I find it really annoying, but maybe I'm just finicky.
Another one who pisses me off is the narrator on some Discovery channel programmes who has to state measurements in metric and imperial units, such as "100 metres or 330 feet", are people really so stupid, did their education not involve these simple calculations in the syllabus?
12 AnswersOther - Destinations1 decade agoHolland bans head coverings, I agree, anyone else?
Security forces must be able to use cctv and other tools to scrutinize faces in this day and age. I would also ban all forms of religious paraphernalia, but that's too controversial to include in this question!
24 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoWhat on Earth has happened to the English language?
This site is host to some of the most illiterate people I have ever read. I understand that a lot of people are american, who use a very bastardized version of English, but the spelling and grammar, is appalling in 90% of questions asked.
Does education not exist anymore or do people just watch TV, chew gum, and play with computers whilst listening to rap music?

8 AnswersPhilippines1 decade agoDoes anyone in San Salvador know Saul Rivera Castro who worked at KKMC in Saudi Arabia in 1979?
I'd just like to know he's ok as he worked with me and left just before the troubles in SS. I hope he didn't get caught up, he was a great guy.
1 AnswerOther - Latin America1 decade agoDoes anybody think it is time to change the category 'religion and spirituality' to 'religion and stupidity'
I believe it is about time that people realised that this religious bla bla bla is not really helping the world, and actually hasn't done so for thousands of years!
