When I do answer, I I try not to parrot other people's answers and only inject my advice if either (1) none has already been given; (2) the advice given is erroneous; or (3) the advice given is not clear or fails to keep more practical reasons in perspective. If everyone answering Yahoo answers kept these basic principles in mind, the site would be far more useful.
