1 AnswerLanguages8 years agoMaybe I am approaching this the wrong way?
I am looking for a language partner so that I can practice my Japanese. But, I am 71 years old. So maybe there is some kind of site for us old folks? I am not interested in a relationship with someone my age. I just want to practice speaking Japanese. I can read Japanese because since I haven't had anyone to talk with my reading has improved greatly. My speaking ability has gone to the dogs, however. I hate that I am loosing something that I worked so hard to accomplish.
2 AnswersLanguages8 years agoI am learning Japanese. Actually what I need most is someone to talk to. However, this seems impossible to me?

2 AnswersLanguages8 years agoI want to learn Japanese but I cannot afford to go to a sushi resturant everyday.?
I went today and spent $15.00 for lunch. That's a lot of me --- my budjet for the whole day is only $18.00. So does anybody know anyway in Los Angeles to find someone to speak Japanese to.
2 AnswersLanguages8 years agoI am learning Japanese and live in Los Angeles. Where could I find people to speak Japanese with?
Today I went to a Japanese resturant and I ordered tonkatsu because I like it. And, I said something in Japanese to the waitress but then she spoke English to me. I said: Doa no soba no menu wo mita to tonkatsu ni kimeta no desu. (There was a menu by the door that had tonkatsu on it. But the lunch menu didn't. She said that I could have the tonkatsu but since it was not on the lunch menu that I would have to pay a little more. ) I could have handled all of this in Japanese. So I want to meet someone who doesn't speak English so well. I really need to practice my Japanese!

I go to this donut place regular because it has tables where I can sit and read and it's quite. But, the girl who works on the weekends seems to love to listen to the radio full blast. Too loud for me. What should I do?
