I have a 23inch flat screen monitor with HDCP and I've just discovered that I can hook a blu-ray player into and it came with a DVI cable and VGA. My computer doesn't have a jack for the DVI cable but a built in HDMI cable can be insert. My question is, if I hook the blu-ray into the monitor will it work on analog VGA or am I screwed? The monitor is new, the computer itself is 5 years old. Is it worth the troube?

Is it just me or is there tons of foreigners in the chatrooms named after American cities? Like for instance, the "Chicago" rooms? This has become my least favorite phrase "asl plz". BUZZ!! WHY? Urghh...anyone else annoyed? Why don't they stick to their own rooms? Why must they insist upon entering chatrooms named after cities they don't live in or have never been to? Sometimes it takes me forever to enter a room only to find out that Kiwa Wong from another country is in there taking up room. I know it's petty and it makes me look narrow minded but wtf! If I wanted to talk to them I'd go to their rooms. And what is with them all having huge font that takes up half a page? Don't they realize that it's not cool? None us have fonts at 72 pitch. Jeez! Yall feelin me?

I know I'm not the only one annoyed with this feature. I want to know if there's any way to take it off or disable it? Please let it be so! I hate that feature! I know it seems petty but I know I'm not alone.

I'm not a fan of reality tv. I don't think anyone with two braincells would find it entertaining but here goes. I, for some reason sat down in the living room last night and mom was watching it. Ok, it's a show called "dance war" but you have to sing as well? Doesn't that defeat the purpose? Seriously. This isn't American Idol. They're sending people home because they're bad singers? Ok, what sense does that make? Am I missing something here? Or is TV really become this pathetic? These are two tv judges forming a dance team, where does the singing come in? The contestants on "Dancing with the stars" didn't have to sing, what gives? Also, what's with every elimination show having a mean british judge? Overkill!!!! LOL I may have answered my own question, but I'm curious about the singing, can anyone give me an answer here?

I know she's not the Britney of 5 years ago, but to say she's fat? There are women in this country that would die to be "fat" like Britney. So what gives? Tell me what you think.

I want to know if there's any way to clean the actual tape inside. I know I can just buy the movie on dvd but it plays well and the audio is great but it looks a little grainy. It could be because I'm so used to watching dvds but this tape is almost 20 years old (1988) so any suggestions? I heard rubbing alcohol could do it, but I don't want to risk ruining the tape. I know I know, I'm still stuck in the 90s (sue me it was a great decade) so any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.
