Instead of putting peoples names on the ballots. Have all the potential canidates make a list of of what issues thay plan on addresssing during their term, and what their priority is for each issue. Then the voters would rank the top then issues they would like to see. And the canidate with the highest score wins. Past voting records could factor into the equation. I think this would help eliminate voting for a person because you heard their name more or just because of the political party they belong to, and force people to vote for what they would actually like their elected officails to do. I know it would need a lot of work to make it work. And of course it still wouldn't be perfect, nothing ever is.

A little over a year ago, I backed into my 23 month old daughter with the our car. A few months later our car insurance called and offered to settle her claim for $850. We were suprised that my daughter would get anything since I was the one that hit her. Our insurance explained that it was just like her getting hit by someone else, or me hitting another child. We wanted to make sure all her medical bills were being taken care of and our car insurance said yes they would. But we found out they didn't know everything she had been through and what her injuries were. Now our car insurance has all the bills and the medical reports from the hospitals that she went to. Tomorrow they are suppose to call and offer a new settlement. My wife called around to both hospitals and both ambulance companies that we used and all the bills were about $10,000. Were not greedy, but we want to make sure my daughter gets all the money she should. That's what the insurance is for after all.

You rarely here any talk about a teams championships before the Super Bowl. The NFL has been around for over 85 years. Thats 85 different champions, and you only hear about the last 40. No other sport does this. They still count all the World Series, Stanley cup finals, and NBA Championship since those 3 leagues were formed. How many of you knew the Packers have one 12 championship. I wager not many, you only know of the 3 SBs. Green Bay is the only team to win 3 straight championships, but you don't hear about that. You only hear about no one has won three straight SBs.

For the 99% of people that Most NFL Championships: Green Bay Packers 12, Chicago Bears 9, New York Giants 6, Dallas Cowboys 5, San Francisco 49ers 5, Washington Redskins 5, Pittsburgh Steelers 5, Cleveland Browns 4, Detroit Lions 4. There are 22 champions right there that you never hear about.

A guy I used to work with was talking about a book he'd read. It was apparently written by some formal general or something that was involved in planning for a nuclear war with the Soviets. He said the book talked about what our strategy for an all out nuclear war would be. It said we knew that they would take out the obvious things like our nuke sub bases and other bases, refineries, and crops. And we would do the same to them. But, it also said we would nuke LA, NY, and other large cities. If they hadn't already done it for us. I guess the book said the purpose of this would be with little food supplies left it would be better to take out a small number of large cities and leave whats left of the food to smaller cities that we could still feed. Anyways, my question is if anyone knows what this book is? Any comments about what the book says would be welcomed too.
