Schools and visas NYC?
So I'm from Europe and I'm trying to get a visa to stay in the U.S, I'm currently here on a student visa.
I want to go to either a performing arts school or a Jewish school. Most of the performing arts schools I've met with require you to audition and it's really cut throath, not to say I wouldn't make it but I need a bulletproof plan. Most of the Jewish schools I've talked to require that you've had Hebrew since you were in Pre-K, I don't speak a word of Hebrew but my grandmother is Jewish (I am too) and she really wants me to learn Hebrew. So my question is; do you know of any schools like these that accepts students and give them a student visa or any school at all giving them away?
1 AnswerPerforming Arts5 years agoWhy was my question deleted???
I just posted a Q asking if the name "Mattea" was too "Ghetto" and pointed out that I was not being racist nor mean, but it`s a fact that "Whiter" sounding names are more well recieved than "Blacker" names. Now this does not reflect my personal opinion however many studies have been made on the subject and they all agree. Now the Q was deleted? Why? I can`t find anything offensive or similar with it, it`s just facts, why are some poeple so butthurt?
3 AnswersYahoo Answers6 years agoDoes this name sound too "Ghetto?" (Please read!)?
Now I am in NO way, shape or form trying to sound racist at all, but it is a known fact that an "Emily Greene" is more likely to get hired then a "Sharquieshalia Wilson"
It`s just the facts, and I have to think about what`s best for my baby, not only as a baby, but as a teenager and a woman.
Now my husband and I really love the name Mattea. (It`s Hebrew/Italian)
We have an Italian last name and we thought of pairing it with something simple like Anna or Grace.
My concern is just, will she be able to survive with it as a grown up in look for a job? We live in a big city in the U.S so people are generally more open here. But if you heard that a "Mattea" was coming in for a job interview, what would you think? (She could go by the nicknames M. or Mattie)
Thank you.

I can`t decide on a name for a girl, I`v been at it for weeks, and I can`t decide here`s the list I`v narrowed it down to.
(I have a more hipster kind taste in names I suppose)
Lucy - A girly old fashioned name inspired by one of my favourite bands hit "Lucy in the sky with diamonds"
Quinn - I heard the name on the TV show "Glee" and instantly loved it. I loved the character as well, as she was very beautiful and talented. I also love the nickname "Q"
Alice - After my favourite story as a child "Alice in wonderland" it has the same old vintage feel to it as Lucy does.
Marlowe - After play writer Christopher Marlowe. I love his plays, and just like the name in general.
Billie - After the amazing Billie Holliday. I love this name, and I love her music. I also love the nickname "B"

Do you like the name Kaia or Caia better? The girl looks/dresses/acts like Jessa from "Girls"
Her middle name would be "K" so Caia K or Kaia K.

2 AnswersTrivia6 years agoHow to dance like Maddie Ziegler (the chandelier girl)?
How do you dance dances like "Chandelier" and "Elastic Heart" as well as she does? I`v been a dancer for my whole life (I`m her age) and I can tell that even though there`s not a lot of technique involved per se, it`s still difficult to execute. I am the "Maddie" of my studio (We do RG and all styles of dance) and my teacher expects me to perform the "Elastic Heart" one for a recital with one of the seniors who`s 21 and more advanced than I am. I am best at emotional execution and getting into the character, but how do I fully dance like her?
