My husband has lost 80lbs in 5 months. He has been very strict. He lives on nuts, eggs, and grilled chicken. Though he has dramatically reduced his calorie intake, he is getting more nutrients now. His old diet was just empty calories. He has been really nasty these past few months. He finds fault with everything anyone does, but I'm his favorite emotional punching bag.

My question is ... Have you ever been blind to your own pent up frustrations when dieting?. ..and do you think dieting can really bring on such a change?

I get that they want to humiliate the victim and feel powerful, but how does that override self preservation? As in the Audrie Pott case, why would those boys incriminate themselves? Is the act of taking the pics and humiliating the girl the whole point of the assault? Were they just confident in victim blaming? ..she had too much to drink so its on her?

...bit of a side question.. I can see how one person carries out a rape, but how do groups of men or boys collectively decide to rape someone? I would think in the process there would be a many disturbed by the proposition. Were you ever in this type of situation? ..hearing the contemplation of rape?
