Magnetic pull in the earth affecting my electronics?
A lot of time I work on my laptop while I'm in bed, and I do this on a regular basis but a few days ago when I came into my room and plugged in my cell phone it was acting really strange, like it started vibrating, not in a phone ring vibration but as if there was some sort of an electrical current running through it, but I wasn't being electrocuted at all, and it it would continue the next few nights. Well tonight when i moved all my computer gear into my room i went to sit the external hard drive on the ground and it started pulling as if a huge magnet was trying to direct it in a certain way. I started freaking out and my husband thought I was hallucinating but he came over the check it out and found the same thing was happening. Could this be something naturally occurring? Or what else could possible be causing all my electronics to freak out, in this one spot? Its about a 2ftx2ft area, and has never done this before, on the other side of my bedroom wall is my kitchen stove, and the fridge is about 15 ft from there ( my husband suggested that but its SO far away) Sorry I didn't know whatcategory to post this in, but if anyone could help explain so I'm not so freaked out please help!
