29 with Baby #2 on the way!!

  • Progesterone Pill and Ovulation?

I stopped the pill in November 09 because my husband and I were going to try for #2 starting in January. I didn't get a period after stopping until Feb 6th, and it has now been 50 days till now and still no additional period or pregnancy. My doctor gave me a 10 day dose of progesterone that he said would cause me to have a period within days after finishing the dose. My question is...if a period begins after this dose, how do I begin to calculate ovulation? Is this a true period where I technically would ovulate 10-14 days after day 1 of the period? I just want to be able to start tracking my cycle properly so we can ttc! The first time I stopped the pill to get pregnant, my cycle wasn't as messed up. Thoughts...any are appreciated!

  • How long did it take for you to get pregnant with your 2nd?

I am stopping the pill this month, and want to begin trying for #2 in January. For those with similar pill stopping and trying situations, how long did it take until you got pregnant a second time?

  • Low Placenta?

I just had my 20 week ultrasound and they think the baby is a boy...he was not cooperating and had his legs closed! Anyway, they mentioned that I currently have a low placenta which could shift, but needs to be monitored because it can cause problems later. I researched this a bit, and it can lead to full placenta previa, so I know that a C-Section is a possibility if it does not correct itself. Just wanted to know how many of you have heard of this correcting itself and with 20 weeks to go in my pregnancy, do you think it is possible?? I really want natural child birth and do not want to be put on bed rest, but am willing to accept whatever I need to do to keep me and my baby safe and healthy. Thoughts?
