Joyful

I was raised to be a liberal democrat because my mother raised us with the help of welfare. I have chosen to be a conservative, with no particular party preference, because of my perseverance to achieve more than mediocre. I believe in researching the individuals running for office, then voting based on the candidate's merits. I have become quite liberal since going back to school to get my degree.I don't believe in health care reform, I believe we all need universal health care. I jdon't see how an ambulance can leave a Mexican dying on the highway, how an ER can let tell a 19 year without insurance that she's fine and can leave now while she's still bleeding, and how people are allowed to decline medical insurance for religious reasons. I've worked my whole life and now cannot afford health insurance or a visit to a doctor. Medical care is a basic human right because it is so stated in the 1948 U.N. declaration that the U.S. voluntarily signed it.
