I want to build a cat tree with out hardly going to the store. I have Norwegian maple stumps, and locus tree stumps in my backyard. Some are seasoned some are not. I don't know which would be better to use. Also, could someone explain or point me into the right direction on how to cut or saw stumps into lumber at home. I searched everywhere! You could give a book source or search from internet.Or even better, is if you have experience in lumber please comment! I'm just making a simple 3 to 4 foot cat tree. My supplies already is carpet, card board boxes, milk crates, maybe a 5 gallon bucket, etc. If you need to know, it's for a 13 lb cat, and it's going to stay in my house. So water or weather is not an issue. So once again heres the questions:

1.)What will work better for a cat tree, Norwegian maple or locust?

2.)Do you know how to cut or saw it from stump to lumber. If so could you explain it here or point me in the direction of how to do it?

I'm so indecisive on what to eat. I have 40 dollars to me name, and DON'T want take out! I have pork chops, sirloin steak, chicken whings, and a whole chicken in the freezer. My mother left when I was 8. Yes feel sorry, whatever.But honestly nothing will change how I feel about it. My father raised me to be a strong independent woman I am today. I don't any from a guy, meaning I never let them push me.. My father taught me in every relationship there has to be equal.Somehow. So, god rest his soul he passed away when he was 47, I was 17. And that was so tragic that anything that pops up related to him, I still break down and cry. Anyways this isn't abput my father, but rather my mother.Of course she always has to take the lime light. When he was sic, here she comes out of nowhere wanting to be in all our lives.I fell for it.And took care of her for 4 years.from 18 to 20. I dropped out of school, got 3 jobs and paid for her to live. She lost her job and I had to support her. I still love her.But its a cold love, because I dont know how it feels to love a mother.Anyways,eventually I got my GED, and I went to college for my associates. So, now we have a huge argument.She's mad because I quit two jobs to make time for school. She said school is nothing but a waste, and I'll never amount to anything.So I left. I'm taking care of myself and I will have my degree in 3 weeks. I tell her, nicely.. I just say ill have my associates. She doesnt seem proud, or to care. She started talking about herself.. She then says I have to call her more. She never calls me.. Am I wrong for not talking to her or calling when I never feel like it?

Super high nitrate levels.. I've done water changes, have plants,have the correct number of fish. It's a 12 gallon with two adult platys and two albino corys and very small platy fryd.I also have a bio filter. Its ammonia, and nitrite are 0ppm, and pH is 7.6. My nitrates is 130ppm!!!! Its definently my tap... I wanted to know if API nitra zorb worked for anyone? Or may work for me?
