We met in our early 50s and it was as if it was meant to be almost like the universe bought us together. We lived 2 doors away for 2 years and the next street before that for 10 years but met when the time was right in both our lives. I want to give him a padlock with some latin words on it (latin being a part of our relationship). We were friends first for a while.

Any sugesstions on shopping, things to see/ do, shows and any other places to snowboard on the way other than Toronto. Thinking of the Ellen Show but not back to book till mid August. My daughter will be travelling to the USA with her Dad in Dec this year and I wanted to give her keepsakes to give nice people she meets. I would like to know from USA people what they would like most. (Keep in mind it has to be really inexpensive, small and legal!)

Me ex is planning to take my 14 yr old daughter to USA this coming December. He is planning for 7 weeks but I think 4 would be enough. (Her first trip os.) They want to visit the usual tourist spots so I am looking for advice/tips/ideas on what would be good that time of year. I can share. (She has never seen snow so she would like to include that. They will be there for Christmas also.) I think they should include a trip to Canada. She is a lucky girl to have this opportunity but I am just concerned 7 weeks will be too long. For a 'formal wedding' for my nephew ( I am 51), would it be ok to wear black pants a nice top and jacket/cardigan? If I wear black pants that I am most comfortable with...what colour shirt/top and jacket should I wear? I have no idea of the bridesmaids colours. Selling babies to teens stuff. Not really wanting kids etc. in the name. Something Australian would be good or an animal, flower, item etc. to go with name for a nice logo. We have Gumtree and I like that because it is sort of has the meaning of branching out and Australian. Suggestions please. =D

Can you buy a timer switch that plugs in to turn them off?

We have key locks but when locked and open they don't let in enough air in our bedrooms. Is there another way I can leave our bedroom windows open but still feel secure? Renting so can't put security grills on. I was thinking of a combination of an alarm on the windows and security lights (the lights would have to be solar powered. Any ideas?

Should I buy the 3.06GHz 500GB Serial ATA Drive or spend another $250 for the 3.20GHz 1TB Serial ATA drive? It is for my daughter who is starting high school next year and she will be using it for the normal student stuff and for media studies and films etc. Thanks geeks. =D

I am passionate about children and particularly teaching reading. I love little kids and they like me but at 50 I feel that I am too old to take on a new career. (My daughter is 12.) Should I pursue a new career?

It never happened before but I got really scared, I wanted to cry but couldn't. I got the sweats and I was panicking about nothing. I washed the dishes at 4 in the morning and finally calmed down when the sun came up. I felt like I was in some sort of uncontrollable fear.

The internet and online purchasing of books has made this business a bit obsolete, however would you support a great bookshop in your area? I am passionate about children reading and I believe that being literate is the key that opens the door to learning and knowledge.
