  • How do you say "thread" (as in a thread on a forum) in Spanish?

What would be the best word to use for a forum thread in Spanish?

As in, "I replied to that thread yesterday."

    Thanks!

  • Where can I get a Killers tour t-shirt?

I went to see the Killers live last weekend (and they were amazing) and I really wanted to get a t-shirt, and all my friends got one, but I didn't bring enough money. Now I have been looking to see if there's anywhere I can get one online, but I haven't had any luck.

The one I'm looking for is the one pictured here:

    http://cdn.sparkart.net/thekillersvictims/content/...

...dark gray and it says "The Killers" five times on the front in different colors, and has tourdates on the back. The shirt can be found on the official Killers website, but is very low in stock and they don't have anywhere near my size. I can't find any of this shirt on eBay.

I think I might be out of luck, but I wanted to check with you guys to see if I could get any help before I give up. Thanks. :)

  • Please help me identify this song!?

So I heard this song playing in a store and I really liked it, but unfortunately it was too noisy to hear the lyrics clearly. Here is what I know:

It's a rock/pop-ish song, sung by a guy. It's kind of a happy, upbeat song, sounded a little like Matt Nathanson, but not as acoustic-y. It also sounded a little like Jack's Mannequin.

In the beginning, it's kind of quiet, and there is where I heard the one lyric I know for sure: "when i first saw you." I think it also says something about a car but I'm not sure. Then in the middle of the song it picks up with drums and stuff. Then in the end it gets quiet again and repeats a few lines from the beginning, including the "when i first saw you" part.

At the end (because it was on the radio) they announced the artist and song title, but again I couldn't hear clearly. I think the artist's name had "Nick" in it or something that sounded like that. And the song name was something like "Silver."

I know that's all very vague and I'm not expecting to be able to find it, but if that rings a bell for anybody, let me know. I've already tried googling everything I could think of with no luck.

Oh, and it's not by Jamie Foxx or Everclear.

Thanks for any help you can give. :)

  • Help me! How quickly will tickets sell out for The Fray/Jack's Mannequin concert?

The tickets for The Fray/Jack's Mannequin tour at the show I want to go to will go on sale this Sunday. However, for complicated reasons that I won't go into, it's hard for me to commit to buying tickets until about two weeks later. Do you think there will still be tickets available at this time? I would love to get good seats, but at this point I'm just worried about being able to get tickets at all. Thanks for any help.

  • Can anybody recommend some good alternative/pop/rock music?

I love: Jack's Mannequin (love love love them), Sherwood (they're not very well known), and Mae.

I also listen to some songs from Augustana, Copeland, The Fray, and Something Corporate.

Can anybody recommend some really good artists or albums that I might like?

  • Prices for Jack's Mannequin concert tickets?

Well, I wanted to buy the tickets for the Farther from Earth tour through the online presale because that would have been so easy, but, and I'm really mad at myself, I didn't get my act together in time and my location is already sold out. General ticket sales start on the 14th, and my question is, how much can I expect to pay? Is it going to be a lot more than the presale tickets, or just a little more? On stubhub the tickets are like 10 times more than the price of the presale ones, but I'm guessing that's not how much the regular tickets are going to cost.

Also, how quickly should I expect the tickets to sell out? Should I be ready to buy the tickets the minute they go up for sale, or should I be okay waiting a day or so?

  • Should I go to a Jack's Mannequin concert?

So yesterday Jack's Mannequin announced their Farther From Earth World Tour, and I am interested in going because I love Jack's Mannequin and I have heard that Andrew is a great performer. However I need advice. I am only 14 (almost 15) and am afraid I might feel too young. Plus I have never really been to a concert of any sort and I have no idea what to expect. Is it totally crazy? Is there a lot of moshing? I really don't want to get in over my head. But also none of my friends are into Jack's Mannequin so I would probably be going by myself. And I guess I would go w/ a parent because my parents wouldn't let me go alone (and frankly I don't think I would want to.)

So, with this incredibly limited view of my life, do you think I should go? And what on earth should I expect? I need to know quickly because presale tickets are probably going to sell out soon.
