Two days ago I had two teeth removed (the last two on the bottom right)/ I was given a prescription for antibiotics before and after the tooth extraction.

The extraction itself went fine, very quick! The pain came afterward and I was given a prescription for vicodin. But now the pain is constant and no pain killers are helping to relieve the pain anymore. I haven't been able to sleep since I got these teeth pulled. I know it's not dry socket but it hurts to swallow and I can see a white area surrounding the extraction site (is this the infection?).

Any advice on what I should do? What this could be? Is it normal? And how can I make the pain bearable?

When I was younger, after my parents had gone through a divorce, anytime I caught my mom or dad kissing their new significant other I would throw a tantrum. If I heard them at night in their bedrooms I would just cry.

My boyfriend's daughter does the same thing, not so much when we kiss, that doesn't seem to bother her but if she hears us at night we hear her start to cry...

I am curious as to why this is....

And before some of you come to the conclusion it's because I wanted my parents back together, I'll make this perfectly clear.. I was HAPPIEST when they were apart!

I am 20 years old. The first day of my last period was 08/17/08. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on the 29th- Sept. 1st. Just recently I noticed changes in my mood and my breasts are unbelievably sore when I wake up and the pain kinda dies down by the end of the day, til I lay down to go to sleep...

I know it's too early to really tell but could I be pregnant? or is it wayyy too early for this to be pregnancy related.

But my question is, why out of all the modern technology we possess, are we still sewing people up like a rag-doll. What I mean is why are we still using stitches...?

How would you feel if we actually made love using the devices used in the movie? Where there is no physical contact...?

I rolled my car down a 25ft drop about a week ago. I had two other people in the car with me, my best friend and her boyfriend. The boyfriend walked away with a black eye he gave himself. lol. My best friend walked away with a concussion. I walked away with a concussion, bad bruising from the steering wheel, and stitches. I know I am very lucky and so are all my friends, but I still can't get over it. I miss my car, my phone, and my cds. And most of all I feel so guilty that my friends were in the car with me. =(

Anyways, I'm not looking for sympathy but I just want to know how do you cope with things like that...?

Here's my story.

I dated this guy in high school for about two years. Before that we were like best friends and after dating we were basically nothing. He wanted to be friends but he couldn't because of his new gf...until just recently.

We hung out and ending up sleeping together and now he texts me everyday and calls and I realized that I do still love him (we never forget our first loves) but he says he doesn't feel the same yet he wants me to come visit him (he's in the Marines) and when he comes back home he wants to hang out. I was thinking it was just about sex but he says love you when we talk and if I go to see him in NC he says he is going to spend all his time with me. And just today he said he misses me...I'm so confused on what to think of his feelings and what to do.

Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Anyone else know what what it feels like to go out drinking with your friends on the 4th of July and then get a call from your work saying " you were supposed to be working midnight to 8am and it's 1am, WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!?"

Not only that but they had no one else to come in so I had no choice but to go.

I think I have a UTI...well I'm pretty sure that I know I do. I know that I have to go to the doctors and get anitbiotics but I don't have health insurance until this Fall. I think the infection has already spread to my kidneys (I feel the sharp pain on the left side of my back). If I wait any longer...what will happen?
