  • How Do I get my internet browsers to play videos?

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad running windows 7 professional.

I have google chrome and internet explorer, neither of which will play videos except for when I'm on facebook, videos work on facebook for some reason.

When I try to watch a video on youtube or any other video site, the space where the video would be is just straight black.

I tried adjusting settings, redownloading adobe flash player, redownloading chrome, updating chrome, turning off the hardware acceleration, turning on the hardware acceleration, restarting my computer, cleaning out my history, cache, temporary files, download folders, disabling and re-enabling the flash players in the plugins page of chrome.

I think what may have happened is that I deleted an essential plug-in in an attempt to clean out my downloads and get rid of unneeded files.

So what do I do know, I'm kind of out of ideas.

  • I need to get a replacement certification card from the red cross, how would I go about doing that?

I am a Red Cross certified Lifeguard. I am also certified in CPR, however I have lost my little certification card thing and I need another one to give to my job to prove that I am certified. How would I get an extra copy?

  • What is the name of this song?

    Chorus goes:

I've found out a reason for me (not sure on that last word, could be something different)

To change who I used to be

I've found a reason to start over new

    And the reason is you

Really like this song and it kinda applies to my life right now so a name would be nice.

    Thanks in advance

  • What kind of sickness did I have?

Yesterday, I began feeling kinda nauseous around 1 pm but nothing happened until almost 6 when I threw up the first time. In the 8 hours after that I threw up 7 more times, each time I threw up I heaved 7 or 8 times, more heaves every time I threw up, even after my stomach was completely cleared of basically everything. The last 4 times, all I threw up was water with a little bit of stomach acid in it. The only thing I could do that wouldn't make me throw up was to lay flat on my back. Finally, at about 2:15 in the morning, I threw up for the last time, and when I woke up this morning around 9:30, I felt completely fine, so far today I've eaten some jell-o with fruit in it and drank some apple juice, nothing major, and my stomach has been just fine. The nausea and throwing up were my only symptoms (aside from a minor headache around 6:00 that went away after the first time I threw up) My question is what did I have? What caused me to be that violently ill for such a short period of time and then wake up just fine?

    Other possibly pertinent info:

    I'm 17, male

extremely athletic, I lift weights 5 times a week and swim 8 times a week

I usually have a high tolerance for food ( before last night, I'd only thrown up once in 5 years and it was because I tried to eat an entire party pack from taco bell along with some other stuff)

    I eat around 4500-5000 calories a day

At about noon, the spanish congregation at our church served us a potluck for lunch, I ate a lot

  • How do I increase my lung capacity?

I am a swimmer, and in swimming it's best to minimize breathing, however, I don't have great lung capacity and can't hold my breath very long. What are some ways I can increase my lung capacity and/or be able to hold my breath longer while I swim?

  • What is the best song Pink Floyd has ever written?

I am a huge fan of prog music but surprisingly never really got into pink floyd. Not because I thought they were bad, by no stretch of the imagination do I consider them bad, but because I just never really did. Anyway, I'd like to start listening to pink floyd but I don't know where to start, so what's their best song or their best song as an introduction to the band itself?

  • How do I get my recertification from Jeff Ellis & Associates?

I worked as a Lifeguard last year, and was certified through the park district I worked at.

This summer, I have switched to a new job as a lifeguard that does not offer a lifeguard training program.

I am fairly confident that my certification from Ellis will run out before my job starts and my new boss won't allow me to work there.

How do I get recertified as an individual?

I understand that I have to take a test, but how do I get that test?

How do I get my recertification in time to begin my job?
