I have this recurring dream. I am in bed and there are snakes all over the bed, and all over the floor. They are everwhere and there is no way to get out of there. No biting, just snakes everywhere. I had this dream as a kid, but even have it now as an adult. Why?

I'm 43 and have had 2 vehicles in my life - a Nissan truck, and a Honda Accord. Both gave me over 200,000 miles. Paying repairs now with the Honda, time to move on, and with a family of four I like the Jeep Cherokee. Tired of small vehicles, need larger for family vacations, hauling, groceries, etc.

I hear and have read nightmare stories, then I read about people who have never had an issue with Jeep vehicles. I've never owned an American made car, am posting this to learn more about owner's experiences with this vehicle?

I don't mind minor repairs but am not interested in driving to a repair shop every month either. Thoughts?

long story, but my credit is @600 and I need a car. Can I be approved? My car is on it's last leg and I don't have enough cash to pay for a new one. I figure I could get 1500 for what I have now. Sure would like to have something no more than 3 years old and I make a good salary..

I know there are those that would say not to pay it, but I manned up and paid my debt. For 5 years I sat at home, did nothing but work and pay. Now I need a car, bank turned me down with a 600 score, can't even get a 1000 cc to charge gas and food and pay off each month - even after arguing that I need it only to move forward and establish credit. I have ZERO debt except mortgage. Problem is, I have NO Credit Cards. I refuse to pay dealership high rates and will drive my 210k mileage Honda til it explodes or my score is good enough to get a low rate acceptable loan. I never charged a thing, my wife is a spender and by serious threat of divorce she finally stopped. I need good credit to move on from here. Credit Union said no. I think the solution is a secured card, but they did not even offer this option/solution. I make really good money so it would be an option. Separately I heard that you can go to a place like Office Depot and they have forms to just deny all bad credit?
