I own a 2006 Nissan Altima SE-R with 130xxx miles...the day after Christmas, when a redlight turned green, I went to press the gas and the car just cut off...I restarted the car and it happened again

A fellow Nissan owner suggested a new MAF...I replaced that and it didn't work...then I tried replacing the throttle body at my mechanics shop and that didn't work either...so finally I took it to the dealer and was told I need a new ecu, that didn't work either

What happens is when the engine is warmed up, it cuts off when you try to step on the gas...when it's cold it drives perfectly fine...then it once it's warm it will immediately stall if you touch the gas pedal...

Any ideas? Because I'm stumped and so is the master tech at my Nissan dealership. It's not throwing any codes either

So this girl and I have been talking since January. We were "official" for awhile but then she called it off, saying we moved too fast. I agreed. Anyways we seemed to contact each other less and less, and when I tried calling this past Saturday she ignored the call

In spite of the fact that we are no longer official up until Saturday we were talking to each other every single day. She also always likes all my photos I post on Facebook....

I posted a status on Monday about a job interview and she was the first one to comment on it with "good luck my love" other than that I have not heard from her besides liking the picture I posted yesterday and I have made no initiative to contact her

Does she still like me? Should I text her?

I know it will never happen but last night I had a dream that I was casually dating Kate Upton, and at night after leaving a club she and I are walking through the city drunk and we begin making out after she says "I think I'm falling in love with you" after that I was unsure about how I felt about her, because i had wondered if that was the alcohol talking. So later I go to tell her that I'm in love with her too. She didn't seem particularly happy to see me and told me shed get in trouble for talking to me. She then told me something I don't remember about an std and that she had put several guys "in jail" because of it and that she would do it to me too.

Up to that point in the dream, she and I were having so much fun hanging out, she always called back, etc, always seemed excited to be with me up to that point, that even before we made out, I made a good friend for drinks to tell them the good news that I was dating Kate upton

So yeah, I have 2 jobs, a sports car and I still can't get any play. I wonder if women think I'm gay. Do I look gay?

I own a 2006 Nissan Altima SE-R with 102k miles, this has happened twice where my transmission has slammed into fail safe mode (automatic tranny) but it only happens when I floor it.

After shutting the car off for a few hours it seems like the computer resets and the car drives fine, like it never happened. I don't floor it anymore because of this.

Does anybody know what causes my transmission to slam like that into fail safe mode?

If I drive "normally" it's fine. But I wanna know what's wrong so hopefully it won't happen again

Does that mean my credit has been approved? Ive been in talks with a dealer about a car, told him I could put money down and use my car as a trade in, on his website, he took $2000 off the price of the car I want too

Today on the phone he said "If I Can Make The numbers work, would I earn your business today?"

I know its a sales technique, but is this a good sign I have been approved for a car loan?

So I want to buy either a 2005 or 2006 Nissan Altima SE-R, I've wanted one for 4 years and the price point of one is now in my range to where a monthly payment is affordable to me, my current payment is $235 a month with just $1700 left of the $11,000 loan I took out 4 years ago

If I buy the car in May or June, I'm looking to put down anywhere from $4000 to $6000 for my new car, my credit is sub prime though, mid 500s YIKES! I went through a rough spot financially back in 2010-11 but managed to hold onto my car, otherwise my score would be much lower

I'm looking to spend no more than $12,000 on an Altima SE-R, but I have found some for as little as $7500, up to $15000, most I find are about $9500-$11500 though.

With $4000-$6000 down, and a gross income of $1400-$1500 a month do you think I could get approved for an auto loan? I know the interest will be high, but this is my dream car and if I can get a similar payment to what I have now, I know I will be able to comfortably afford it.

So as of right now, I drive an 03 Altima 2.5 S, its a great car. Have had it for 4 years and some amazing memories in it (2 cross country road trips, trips to Los Angeles, countless other things) What I originally wanted was either a 2005 or 2006 Nissan Altima SE-R, which essentially is the same car, but with a 260 hp v6, and ALL the options, but back then I could not afford it because the price as well as the insurance were just too high

Fast forward 4 years and I have seen them for $10k and even less than that. Im currently saving money right now to buy one outright with cash (my credit isn't so good at the moment) And am also planning to use my current car as a trade in, Im hoping to get $2300-$2800 by that time for it, By that time I am also hoping to have $4000-$5000 of my own cash saved up by then as well. But now here is the kicker

So lets say I have $5000 of my own cash, plus $2500 for my car as a trade in. Thats $7500, the car I want is $10k, I will either take out a loan and use my company's stock I have as collateral, OR use SOME of my financial aid money, NOT ALL OF IT! I work 35 hours a week at my job and am starting school this summer and do not plan on decreasing my hours

So if I dont get the stock loan, and I use my own cash, plus my car as a trade, plus a small amount of financial aid, the car would essentially be paid off, and my company has tuition reimbursement, so I wouldnt have to worry about big student loans down the line.

Is it wrong that I am planning to buy a car this way? For the simple fact that I've always wanted it because it can go a lot faster than my current car, and is fully equipped?

So where I work, there is this GORGEOUS older woman who always comes in to shop (I work at a grocery store) She came in today, but I'll get to that. She and I always talk, and I always try to talk to her because I think she's really hot

The last time I saw her, she was shopping in my department with her husband, and I had made a comedic remark and she touched my shoulder, I don't think he was looking

Now for what happened earlier today, I see her chatting with one of my coworkers and in a funny, not serious way I said to my coworker "Hey, get outta here, you can't talk to my girlfriend" And she laughed and grabbed my wrist (not hard but lightly) and said "Oh don't be ridiculous there's plenty of love to go around

After she left the department where I work, my supervisor (who is in his 20s like me and saw the whole thing happen) said "What was that all about, did you see the way she was touching you? She's like twice your age"

Now I am starting to wonder if this older woman, really does like me? She has blonde hair blue eyes, always comes in wearing high heels, short skirts and revealing low cut tops, so of course I notice her

But is it possible that she really is flirting with me and the attraction is mutual? I dont plan on going anywhere with this as she's married but I still wonder.

My credit score is in the mid 500s, it used to be much higher, the last 3 years have been very tumultuous money wise. But now I have a stable job and am planning to attend college for a hotel management degree

I have a car loan right now which is almost paid off, 9 payments to go at $230 a month and 9.75% interest. My car loan is with my company's credit union. In spite of all my financial troubles, I bent over backwards to keep the loan current, and I never once missed a payment

I've had this car since early 2009 when I bought it. Its a 2003 Nissan Altima. It now has 125,000 miles (57,000 at the time of purchase) and is starting to have a lot of high mileage car type problems that I cannot afford (struts, wheel bearings, etc) I owe about $2000 of the $11,000 loan I took out in 2009, when my credit score was around 700

Im saving up money for a down payment on a better car, and am looking at a max price range of $12,000. Even with my credit, do you think my credit union would be willing to give me another car loan since I have always been in good standing with it and have not missed a single payment?

Back in 2010, I made the decision to move to Las Vegas from my hometown of Orlando, FL while I was really scared that things would not work out at first, they worked very well for me for awhile. I met what I thought was a great girl, got a great job with even better pay, a beautiful apt, the works

In August 2011, my ex and I went through a very nasty break up, in November 2011, I got let go from my job. In December 2011 my father died. I was forced to leave my apartment because being unemployed I couldnt pay the rent, the ex moved in with a new guy who had a criminal record (now has kids with him) In January I took a job, the only job I could get selling cars, and borrowed $600 from my uncle to rent a room from somebody. After one month that job fell through, and I was forced to return to Orlando

After returning my old job hired me back, so I got lucky there. Although the issues that made me leave in the first place are still here. My moms impulsive spending, resulting in me bailing her out every time the electric, water, cable companies, etc send shut off notices. She hoards too, our house is a complete wreck.

A lot of my friends have moved on in their lives and "dont have time" to hang out anymore so I have had to make (unsuccessfully) a whole new circle of friends. There is also my 17 yr old brother who is chronically truant, and sometimes I get woken up at 7 in the morning with my mom yelling at him that he missed the bus and I have to take him to school, among all other kinds of reasons as to why I left, my family was and is completely dysfunctional

As of right now I am saving money to move back, a good friend of mine in Vegas works as a limo driver and wants to put in a good word for me so I can get hired. He is also buying a house and when he moves into his house, plans to transfer his apt lease to my name when he moves out, and will only charge me $300 a month to stay there until I get on my feet

I was also thinking of attending school if I move back. I know if I move this time, I will be leaving with roughly 2.5-3x as much savings than my first move in 2010, and also a LOT less debt I owe. My car loan will have about $1100 left on the loan when moving day comes

Yet I am terrified of moving back. Mainly because I'm afraid the limo driving thing WONT work out, and I fear that if it doesn't, I'm going to run out of money before I find a job. I cannot take my job with me as it is a local company. I also fear finding a job will be even more difficult due to school.

Even though now I have connects in Vegas in terms of a job and living situation making things appear easier, are my fears unfounded? Am I still haunted by all the trauma I experienced the last 6 months I lived there?

I've never been so indecisive in my life, I just dont know what to do

So Thursday afternoon, I interviewed for an upscale restaurant in Downtown Orlando, FL. I originally didn't even intend to apply for a job there. But 2 hours before the interview I was walking by the restaurant on my way to my car after a Dr's appointment and something struck me to go in and ask the manager if she was hiring. She invited me back for an interview later that afternoon

I think the interview went very well. I told her I was looking for a 2nd job to be able to afford a apartment, I told her about my resort experience in Las Vegas. I told her I would make myself available whenever she would need me. I told her I was looking for either a server or busser position. She told me that another manager did the hiring for bussers

She told me she would call me Saturday to let me know whether I got the position or not. And that if I did NOT get a call, to call her on Monday. If she wants me to call her is that a good sign that I got the job?

I called her back later after the interview, to thank her for taking the time to interview me and she seemed very appreciative of that

Is it a good sign if she tells me she'll call, and that if she doesn't to call her? Do I have the job?

All I can remember is the lead singer going "na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na" and then right after that the same 15 "Na's" are repeated ny himself and a chorus. Its nothing that came out in the last 20 years. It came out before 1990 I know that much. Can somebody help me?

I'm a heterosexual male and I found out two months ago I am HIV positive. I intend to stay healthy, take my meds when I get them, and keep my career ambitions in mind

Would you date a guy who is HIV positive or am I doomed to be alone forever? This is something that's been bothering me since I found out about my status. Some have told me "Don't worry, women are more open-minded than you think" Others have said "You can no longer date HIV negative people, only positive people now"

Is that true?

If you're HIV- and you REALLY like the guy, would you continue dating him?

So currently, I earn $9.15 an hour at my current job. I work on average 30-38 hours a week (I have part time status) so my take home pay fluctuates between $1,000 and $1,200 a month, let's average it out to $1,100.

My total expenses are about $700 a month (car payment, insurance, gas, groceries, cell, misc) Which leaves me with $400 left over. I am supposed to be hearing about a 2nd P/T job at hotel that will pay $8.25 plus tips, I plan to work it 3 days a week and my current job 3 or 4. Without tips I would probably be earning another $400 a month, I'm not sure how much in tips I will make

But let's say that at $1,500 a month (pre tips) how much should I budget for a one bedroom apt (I live in Orlando, FL and most 1 bdrs are $500-$800 depending on location)

My entire family took a trip together, including my father who has been deceased for 8 months

We ended up going to a womans house in Upstate NY. I don't know why though, we live in Orlando, FL & don't know anybody in upstate NY

The woman who owned the house was a beautiful older woman in her early 40s, & she and I wander off alone and we end up.having sex. Right before I climax I tell her I want a condom. She told me she didn't need one because she couldn't get pregnant, but I insisted, & we get one and then finish. The sex was incredible

Right afterwords I noticed a sign in her room stating anybody who slept with her is required to have an hiv test. In my waking life I.recently found out I may be hiv positive (I'm hoping the preliminary test is a false positive, I.get the confirmed results in 10 days) but I explain to the woman I'm hiv positive, and that was why I insisted on.a condom. She understood and said she was ok with it as long as I used protection

In my waking life I've been real worried that no woman will want to be with me because of my possible.status. Does this dream possibly.have any correlation with those feelings?

It was very brief but I remember we were taking a road trip in an 18 wheeler (his job when he was alive) he was driving the truck and I remember being real happy to be there with him. But that is all I remember

When I was a child I had always wanted to go with him in his truck but my mom would never let me. He drove.across the country in his.truck

I say the word "may" because I only took a preliminary test and am hoping the confirmatory comes up negative

Anyways in the meantime, I have been doing a lot of research about HIV, its effects, getting meds, maintaining a healthy life, and the biggest one to me....dating

I accept that HIV is NOT a death sentence and that with the proper meds I will live a long healthy life. I have also heard of HIV+ people who have T-cell counts higher than same HIV- people because of their meds

Now my biggest worry is that I will be doomed to be alone forever because I am not a homosexual male. I have been with a few transgendered women who were pre-op but I am NOT attracted to, nor have I ever been with a masculine male and even after I found out my possible status I still am interested in dating and one day marrying a genetic female

Does this mean my love life is over a heterosexual male because of my status?

I'm seriously considering trying to date a male since gay men hit on me all the time and I've been told that I'd "have an easier time getting a date" if I was gay and gay men don't seem to mind as much if their partner is HIV+ whereas a woman would run as fast she could

But at the same time, I can't picture myself being with a man either, it just doesn't feel "right" to me

PS I have several gay male friends so I hope my comment about it not feeling "right" doesn't offend anybody. I'm just not attracted to males

But should I consider a gay relationship because of my status? I'm afraid of being alone forever because no woman will date an HIV+ male

Without all the spam and crap? Are there any sites where you can take a test that helps you figure out what career is best suited for you?
