7 mile race in just under 3 weeks. What should my training and taper look like from now til then?

I've been running 3, 4, and 5 mile runs about every other day. Looking for a personal best in this 7 mile race. The race is Saturday, July 26th, so should these last two Saturdays before it be a hard 7 mile run? Please advise. Thanks.

I'm looking for info on when I can run my generator. Obviously, when hooked up to shore power, I can run my AC and everything else. When I unhook from shore power, I can start the gen and run the AC but then the gen sputters out. Does my boat have to be running to run the generator? That can't be right. Can I run the generator while the boat is running? I believe I should be able to run the generator any time whether the boat is running or not.

Can someone straighten me out here?

Details: 31' boat, twin 5.7's, onboard gen, 4 batteries, 2 for starting, 2 for house power.

When compared to the Cayenne, the prices of pre-owned Panameras are outragous. Why aren't they depreciating at all? I want to pick up a Panamera, but the prices just are not coming down.

For $50K, you can find a pre-owned Cayenne GTS, but Panamera V6's are still costing that! What gives?

We purchased a 4 year old Cayenne for less than half of the sticker price. Now the Panameras are approaching 4 years old and are holding at like 80% of sticker price.

If I run at the most efficient speed, how many gallons will I burn per hour?

I'm Jeep shopping again. So many Wranglers out there do not have Cruise. Is it possible and relatively inexpensive to add it? Thanks in advance.

What would be some good trails for my mostly stock (2" Budget Boost, AT tires) WJ Grand Cherokee?

The fan kicks on or off when it feels like it. The fan control knob does nothing, hi/low/auto.

Any thoughts? Fuses to check? Connections?

My heat and defrost have started to "come on when it wants to". I always leave it on heat/defrost with the fan on Auto/Low. Usually when the Jeep warms up, it kicks on and works fine. Lately, it won't kick on at all, or kicks on after like a half hour. Also cuts out periodically. When it isn't working, nothing works, not putting the fan on high, changing to heat only or defrost only, nothing.

Any ideas?

Just bought a SportCraft pool table for under $500 brand new. I knew it wasn't slate, but after it was assembled, it isn't even playable due to the wood sagging so much in the middle that the balls all roll together. Is there a way to fix this? I bought the 2 year coverage plan on it, but its literally brand new, I'd like to make it work.

These are approximately $60K or more new, yet when they are 5 years old the value drops to like a third of that. Are they reliable? Could you expect 200K miles out of one?

I have a Grand Cherokee and like it a lot. The mix of road manners, off-road capability, and towing are the requirements. The Grand fills these well, and I suspect a Rover would too.

I know they are horrid on gas and I know that repairs could be pricey.

32 years old, consider myself active and fit, but a little overweight. I lift heavy and do a lot of cardio. I began taking creatine to help gain some muscle and strength. I put on almost ten lbs (presumably of mostly water weight). Before taking the creatine, I was about 180 lbs, now weighing about 190. I want to keep the muscle I have but lose body fat and weight. My goal is to be around 170 or 175, at which I should be pretty lean. My fancy scale tells me I am currently at BMI (body mass index) of about 25. Boarderline overweight, but I"m short and stocky.

So given my goal to retain muscle and lose fat, should I stop the creatine? Should I continue to take protein?

(I read Mens Health and Mens Fitness, so I don't expect much different info here, but any ideas you have would be appreciated!)

Anyone have information on what transmission can be swapped into an 02 Grand Cherokee with a 4.7L HO? I've been told not to use the factory replacement because it'll just go in time as well.

How can I make my wife leave work at work? She brings her stress home and lets it get to her way too much. She is always irritable and treats me terribly as a result. I try to make things easier on her, but nothing I do is ever good enough. She is selfish, only needs me to do things for her, and totally uninterested in the sack. Doesn't sound good, does it.

If I have a goal of living on a $100K per year income upon retirement, how much would it take to buy that annuity?
