32yrs old - currently 17 weeks pregnant with number 1 baby! Had 1 yr on clomid and conceived on our last try but miscarried at 5 weeks. Referred for IVF and failed on the first attempt, conceived on the 2nd attempt but miscarried at 6 weeks with a blighted ovum, D&C June 2010, then 3rd IVF had another blighted ovum at 6 weeks and had D&C Dec 2010. Had recurrent miscarriage tests and they showed that i had high Natural Killer Cells which means my immune system attacks the embryo. Found out i was pregnant naturally before the results were back and i had to take steriods for 12 weeks to make sure my body didnt reject the baby. Baby R is due 28th November! its been a hard tough painful journey but hopefully the little one will greet us in Nov / December. We also have a lovely home which we are refurbishing and 6 beautiful guinea pigs that have their own bedroom!
