My parents have always been adamant about this, but I would like to know if their concern is based on knowledge of the inner workings of microwaves or on fear coming from a lack of understanding about microwaves. It's hard to tell because I have never seen or read a tip/piece of advice anywhere about covering food in a microwave.

I'm a guy and, even though I'm not sure if modeling does anything to improve the world, I love the entertainment value of the show and the character and personality of Tyra Banks (unlike some public stars, she seems like a person I would want to know). That show can make me laugh and fight tears too. I've recently gotten into watching ANTM (currently watching season 3) and I love the song they play at the end of every show when a girl gets eliminated from the photo of all the finalists, which has a soft rock quality to it.

I just read an article on Yahoo that says exercise helps with chronic pain. It also says stopping exercise will probably make the pain worse: http://health.yahoo.com/pain-management-2007/levy/...

So my question is, would it be better to start exercising and have to stop later, or not start exercising at all and stay with the current low pain level?

I added this contact throught Yahoo messenger, but I stopped chatting with the messenger a long time ago. But a person I used to chat with is till on my contacts list on Yahoo mail, and I don't know how to delete the person from the list. Would I have to re-install Yahoo messenger to do that?

The back pockets on my pants are stitched together and I don't know why. I put a finger in there between the strings tying the pocket together to make sure it was a real pocket and not a decoration pocket...it doesn't make sense why they would make a pocket and then restrict its use. What gives?

Will this Microsoft DirectX Drivers Redistributable December 2006 download I saw on download.com (http://www.download.com/Microsoft-DirectX-Drivers-... allow me to play some games I otherwise wouldn't be able to play, or does it just improve the graphics.

Also, does a vertex and pixel shader have to do with DirectX versions, or are they things that are solely dependent on the video card in your pc or laptop?

I just bought this game, but when I ran System Requirements Lab, a program that determines whether your game meets system requirements, I got these results:

Can I run this game without having the vertex shader, but just with worse graphics? I can't get a refund once I open the package.

I go to their website and I can watch Smallville videos fine. But if I download the video so I can watch it offline, I don't get any sound, only visuals.

I think the song is great but I've never heard it outside of Smallville.

I'm a fairly tall male college student and when walking on campus, I frequently pass by girls who are either wearing glasses so you can't see their eyes, or kind of leave their eyes on the ground when they are walking or just straight ahead, almost like they are afraid of you--but if you strike up a conversation with one, they treat you like they've known you all your life. Why won't they look at the person they are passing?
