  • My L:\ drive keeps disappearing?

    I have an HP M7667C desktop PC and my DVD-ROM just hasn't been showing up lately. The computer is under a year old, but refurbished, and this problem has only been happening for about 3 weeks.

    I took the side off, unconnected the drive, reconnect the drive. I made sure everything was in order and working... which it was.

    The L:\ drive returned! ...for about 3 or 4 hours. And then it disappeared.

    Is this something that is an easy fix? I've had to deal with the oversea's tech company. >:( And they will get a tech out here ASAP ... in 2-4 weeks.

    So! Any suggestions are great, wonderful, and appreciated.
