  • Curious, lottery inspired math. How many number combinations? Explain.?

With five sets of numbers between 01-99 that can be in any order and the powerball being the sixth set, how many possible number combinations would you have to put in to cover them all? Please, explain your math.

Also, if it can be answered here, is there a limit on how many tickets you purchase for the powerball lottery?

  • 1968 Pontiac ignition wiring help?

Distributor became disconnected causing no start. Don't know Where to connected distributor, I tested feeding constant power and it started right up when turning key. Turn key off and it's still running. Ignition fuse has no power. This is Where distributor was connected pre-problem and car would've turned off with key...

Wiring looks OK, could it be ign switch?

What gives power to "ign" fuse?

  • 1968 Pontiac No start, Need wiring help?

    1968 Pontiac Catalina Ventura.

Disconnected battery to replace/have rebuilt brake booster and since reinstalling and reconnecting battery I've had trouble starting.

Battery is brand new optima redtop, voltage is good, ground is good.

Ignition switch turns on accessory position, on position, but I get no crank in on position.

Flamethrower distributor BAT cable is connected to ignition fuse.

Using test light I get power to all fuses except ignition..not with switch in accessory, on, or run.

Current resources I'm having trouble locating a simple schematic. That would be helpful. How about that ignition fuse? Should BAT be connected to ignition fuse? What is in line with that fuse that I should check Cos there's no power to it?

  • Financial Aid 150% rule, two associate degrees?

Attended community college 2010-2012 for Associates in Biology, Pre-Med.

Incomplete degree, received 55 of 60 required for graduation, need 3 more classes to graduate.

(Didnt want to pursue that career anymore) 2 years grant money, one year loan money used.

Its now 2014 and I want to go back to that same community college for AS in Automotive Technology (70 credits)

With the 150% rule in place, will I be able to complete it with financial aid?

If not, could I take those 3 courses needed to graduate the Biology AS for graduation to make the 150% rule inapplicable in this situation?

Will financial aid support two completely different AS degrees?

  • Answer to car front driver side wheel symptoms?

When replacing the tire, the technician noted that the wheel could be moved when jacked up, as it shouldnt..

Now, even at lower speeds 20 to 30mph, the steering wheel vibrates along with driver side front of car.

Also, just started hearing a rumbling sound with the vibrations as if driving that tire along a really bumpy road.

My brake caliper on that side is smoking now as well..guessing its sticking, the bolts were tricky last brake rotor/pad replacement.. just adding this fact in case it helps.

Could be a number of components but do these symptoms together make one issue more likely than another? Gathering input before checking it out. Thanks.

  • Placing carpet on top of old carpet, possible problems?

Renting a house and hate current carpet. Trying to be as cheap as possible just to satisfy my eye everyday. Thought of buying some remnant carpet and simply place it on top of current carpet and staple it down. Not concerned with having to adjust lumps from not being stretched and properly installed. Just throwing this idea out here to see what anyone might have to say, enlightening me of any issues that may arise im not currently aware of.. thanks

  • Death sentence to bring another puppy home when last adopted puppy was infected with Parvo?

Just curious what others peoples take is on this is.

The person who we adopted the pup from had given us papers that showed she has had some of her shots, which included Parvo shot. She still became infected abd didnt make it.

Aware from my sources that Parvo can last up to 6 years, Im worried I wont be able to have a puppy in this house without becoming infected as well, even being up to date on all shots.. And it would break my heart to deal with it again..or know im partially the reason shes infected, due to allowing the exposure to happen by bringing him/her home.

The house has been washed and wiped down with bleach though nothing has been done to backyard.. (Also, planned on replacing carpet anyway, just now thinking maybe that would decrease some of the risk inside since thats where she was majority of the time)

Is it a death sentence to bring another puppy (even up to date on shots) into this home and yard?

    Thanks

  • DLNA Blu-ray Player..do I need compatible tv or adapters to use from PC?

The Sony BDP-S580 features DLNA. Ive never used DLNA before and am interested in connecting the PC to the Blu-Ray player. I understand Ill need to download a DLNA server to the PC. What else? I was told that my tv has to have a DLNA feature as well or it has to be connected with an adapter from the BluRay player. Is this incorrect? Can I use the HDTV I have with just the BluRay player having DLNA support or will the TV probably need to be replaced for this to work?

  • Car electronics flickering.. alternator problem? other possibilites?

Suddenly a few days ago my 2002 Ford Focus started having electrical issues..while the cars running the lights have flickered, while driving my stereo head unit clicks off then back on, my subwoofer goes out randomly, the speakers go out on one side randomly back and forth, the fuel gauge has twitched back and forth at idle, and a sound from behind the gauges in the dashboard makes a clicking noise at idle.

It was a total sudden onset. I do have a high powered stereo that I expected would eventually wear out the alternator..

For a few minutes I used a voltmeter to check the battery before start, then after start with it still connected checked the power from the alternator. Went from 13 to 14.6v.. with the stereo up and all lights on it didn't drop below 13.4v. I'm going to check again and for longer later. Just wondering what else I may check out or anybody with this experience could tell me about it.. thanks :)

  • Molecular Mass By Freezing Point Depression?

How do I go about solving this problem? I need a good elaboration. Values can be changed if you want..I dont care, I just need to know how its solved. Thanks, I really appreciate any help. :)

0.2650 g of a compound of unknown molecular mass were dissolved in 18.00 mL of a non-ionizing solvent with specific gravity of 0.7480. The pure solvent was determined to have a freezing point of 6.80 degreesC. The freezing point of the solution was determined graphically. Trial one yielded a freezing point of 5.31 degreesC for the solution. Trial two indicated the freezing point to be 5.23 degreesC. Kf (solvent) = 12.8 degreesC/m

a.Calculate the molecular mass of the unknown.

    b. If 5.50 grams of solvent freeze out of the original solution, what is the freezing point of the new solution expected to be?

  • DVI-D to HDMI hook-up and NVIDIA Control Panel?

    (NVIDIA GeForce6150SE nForce430)

    Computer to Monitor: VGA-to-VGA cable

    Monitor to HDTV: DVI-D-to-HDMI cable

I've hooked the cables up and there is no signal at all on the tv. (Plain black, no messages)

The NVIDIA control panel is suppose to have the options under "Display>Set up multiple displays" to choose how you want to see the displays..Clone or Dualview. These options are not available.

The HDTV is not being detected, only my computers monitor is.

The option for "Rigorous Display Detection" didn't fix the problem.

"Force Televison Detection" is not selectable.

Screen Resolution changes havent made a difference.

    Any ideas?

Any other program that could be used to adjust display settings of multiple displays for the graphics card?

    Thanks.

  • Damage to engine with exhaust backup?

I have a car that was rear ended with the whole rear end smashed in and the tail pipe bent causing exhaust to backflow toward the front end. The car still ran great after the accident otherwise, but now it wont start after letting it run too long like that. Im going to be letting it go to the junk yard, but I was wondering what kind of damage exactly does it have on the engine & other components? The car ran great and im just hoping my carelessness didn't screw it up too much that nobody will ever get further use out of it. Thanks.
