I am getting married in a few months and and my fiance at a lost as to what to give our parents. We want to stay away from anything cheesy - like photo frames, or poems - we want something nice, but sentimental. Willing to pay up to $300 for them.

I am not talking about VP's who have WON an elections after the current President. I am talking about examples like when Nixon resigned and Ford took his place (after Agnew was disgraced)

It's happened a few times. Especially if someone brings their dog over. My neighbor brought over her Boston Terrier and my dog jumped up on the couch next to her and peed on her while her dog ran around the house. She has also pooped on the bed next to my boyfriend when he is sleeping. A few day ago she peed on the foot of a friend who doesn't have a dog but was talking to me about doing some work on my house. She has even pooped on areas where dogs have spent time in my house.

What do I do?

Mine loves to bring me my socks - dirty or clean. She will bring them over and set them next to me. She also hates to roll over - so when I have at treat and ask her to do it, she lets out this funny howl that almost sounds like she's talking to me.

I catch my dog in the litter box at lease once a week. She knows it's wrong - but she still goes in and eats the poo. My co-workers have said the same about their dogs. Why do they do this? gross!

Why is it that me and all my friends are going through a mid life crisis in our 30's? All of us are successful, make 6 figures, own property, have sucessful careers, etc - but feel so unfulfilled?

I am 33 and don't know if I want to get married. Do you think modern society needs marriage? I make 6 figures, own a house and don't see the need for it? Am I nuts and will regret it when I am old and lonely -- or am I making the right decision? I have turned down 2 engagement proposals - have I just not found the right guy - or - am I just a sign of the times?

I am looking for some fundraising ideas for a group I volunteer with. All are working professionals so things like a car wash or bake sale won't fly with this group. What we do is train them to run marathons and they raise $2,200 for a cancer society.

RIght now we have a dinner party, a wine tasting event, and a 70's party. Any other ideas??

Basically I got a mixer from one of my friends - a good friend. When I opened the actual box to remove the mixer, there was a wedding card from someone else addressed to her -- As if she put the card inside the box to remember who gave her the gift.

Basically she regifted a gift.

I volunteer for a cancer society that helps people train to run marathons. In return each participant has to raise between $2,200 - $2,700 depending on where the race is located. The society has a website for individuals to set up, but that is sometimes not enough. I am looking for easy ideas we can do as a team. We have done the raffle, the candy sale, etc. This group is filled with working professionals so things like a car wash wouldn't go over really well with them.

Any ideas?
