My natural hair color is a very light auburn brown. ive died it lighter brown in the past which only caused my hair to turn brassy, of course i was using drug store hair dye brands so that wasnt a very surprising result. Anyways, i died it a dark ash brown to take away the brassy tones and ive continued to tuch it up with the same dark color for months now. Im trying to go really light blonde now for the summer, ive been to the salon twice now and ive gotten light blonde cap highlights because mt hair dresser said it was safer then stripping, bleaching and dying it all togetherand, they are working great to lighten my hair. I still have my dark undertones though and my hair is nowhere near being completely covered in blonde. I was wondering if it was safe now to just purchase a good hair dye breand from sallys maybe so i can get all of my hair lighter. or will it not work on the dark undertones? also any suggestions for a good hair dye i can purchase to go blonde. Thanks :)
