  • Does anyone know where I can find a Turbi-Twist towel?

It is a small towel that actually fits like a turban and is mainly used to hold wet hair after shampooing, instead of a heavy regular towel. It also has a little elastic loopy that I believe is at the base of the neck and it holds the twisted hair and towel so that it stays secure.

It is an "as seen on tv" thing. It has been probably 10 years (?) since it was sold on tv. But I haven't seen one since.

    Thank you in advance !

  • Does anyone know where I can find 3" pom poms?

They are the little acrylic (or something) fur balls used to make craft animals and stuff. I used to buy them by the bag of 100 or 50 in the 80's. I haven't been able to find the 3" size now. I have not been successful finding any good source for any of the larger sizes actually. If anyone knows anything at all or has a suggestion please help! thank you so much in advance!

  • I am going to be getting a biopsy on the inside of my uterus on monday. I was at the Dr. yesterday for my ...?

gyn. check up. They tried to do the biopsy there but was unable to because my cervix was to hard and tightly closed. In 1986 I had cervical cancer and a cone-biopsy surgery was done which took care of it. They said this is why my cervix is hardened like it is.

Well, they tried to do the biopsy yesterday in the office without any pain killers or local anesth. or anything like that. It hurt more than I can describe. Since they were unsuccessful, they have to try again. I will take 2 pills (?) on sunday night at midnight so that on monday morning they can try again.

My problem is this: I am so terrified about going, knowing what I have in store for me. I was not able to even maintain or deal with the amount of pain I experienced yesterday, now I have to do it again. Does anyone know why they don't do this under a general or even a local anesthetic???? Can I choose to go under? Can I do anything at all???? Please help!
