  • Law vs Psychology Career?

I just finished my freshman year of college, with law school in mind for my future. I'm enjoying my internship in the legal profession very much this summer. Yet, in the back of my mind, something appeals to me about a career as a clinical psychologist.

Differences in salary? (I know there is an excess of lawyers right now. This doesn't worry me.)

How you know one is for you over the other?

    Flexibilty?

    Stability?

  • Question regarding law school admissions?

    Question regarding law school admissions?

I am a freshman at an Ivy League college, and am strongly considering law school in the future. As of now, I really want to major in political science--I'm passionate about it and it's what I love. I'm aware law schools are tired of the same old "poli sci" applicants; yet, they encourage you to major in what appeals to you. Will I be at a disadvantage majoring in political science (most likely with a focus on U.S. politics)? It would feel wrong to me to choose something more obscure (e.g. American Studies, etc) just for the sake of "standing out." Plus, I feel that those majors cannot stand on their own as well as political science. Any advice is appreciated. (Also, how does anyone feel about majors relating to poli sci, such as public policy or IR?)

  • SAT 2: Spanish, question???

I heard that language SAT2's are so hard that only native speakers can take them. Is that true? I'm in Spanish 4, and will be taking a senior elective for Spanish next year, even though I'll only be a junior. I'm good. But I don't know all the tenses and irregulars thoroughly.

I am going to Costa Rica and am taking spanish at their universites this summer.

Do you think a native New Yorkers can do well (700+) on the Spanish SAT2?
