I am a fan of the BBC series "Wallander", with Kenneth Branagh. I (and I found, many others) love his weird ringtone, composed for the series. There are many .midi and other files out there that approximate the kooky, mildly depressing tone (made for a Sony Ericsson).

But I have a Net 10 T404G pre-paid. I downloaded one great file from a separate site, but could not figure out how to get it onto my phone without using Voice Record and playing it on my computer. It just doesn't sound right!

Any ideas?

I'm a writer and have difficulty sitting at my desk for several hours. It kills my back and knees. Is there a laptop (or PC) with a special desk for it, or at least a detachable keyboard that would let me semi-recline?

I saw one in an ad last year but despite searching, cannot find it again.

Why do I keep getting NEW Spam in my email, though I am constantly marking these messages as Spam. Yet my wife, who surfs a lot more than me, hardly gets any? Is it sites I go to (music, certain authors like Hunter Thompson), or the fact that I don't visit my email much? I'm now getting dozens of "offers" from Walmart, Home Depot, Subway, etc., though I only go to HD once in a while. Then there are the viagra ads! How do I at least cut down on them?

My son is being evaluated for Marfan syndrome, due to some physical traits he has (he's very tall & thin, has some chest malformation), and also because it runs in my family.

I've read that certain foods, such as asparagus, can help build collagen (fibrillin), since if you have Marfan's, or something similar, you don't make as much of this. Are there other foods? How about natural/herbal supplements?

I've had mitral valve prolapse, apparently since birth, and though I'm quite strong & fit, with little or no atherosclerosis, I will still need open-heart surgery, according to my cardiologist, to replace the valve.

Naturally, I'm freaked out and want to hear from anyone who's had that surgery, whether you got the real tissue or the fake valve & how long it took to recover. I'm most worried about not being able to work like I do now (I'm a carpenter).

Any info would be appreciated!

I'm not that big on computers (mostly use ours for browsing & email), so my wife does most of the "maintenance" and whenever she runs Spybot Serch & Destroy, it takes HOURS! I can't do anything on the computer because other programs, like Firefox, take forever to open and sometimes just shut down!

A friend says we probably have too much "junk" on our computer, like picture files (and my kid downloads lots of music files). Could that be it? It's driving me nuts, but my wife says she likes it and it's necessary to have. AARRGGH! Any suggestions?

I admit I've been secretive, without meaning to, when it comes to what my wife knows about what I do and where I go. But over the years, she now doesn't trust me. She doesn't always say anything, but I can sense it. Why should I explain my comings and goings to her? Do women NEED that?

What would make her trust me again? I'm faithful (for now), but I can't stand any more of this distrust. I think she should trust me because we're married.

NINE yrs. ago, my wife + I, with our young son, rented a house, which began to leak (we're talking Noah's Ark here!) - and landlord refused to do anything. After checking w/local authorities, who all groaned and said "Not HIM again!" we found he was a violent felon, just out of jail (for assault + battery on girlfriend), among other things. He lost the housing case in court (not $, just pride) and we moved to a town 50 mi. away. NINE yrs. went by, we moved back here, but we're back in the area. Now he works (as a building sub-contractor) where I JUST got hired (carpenter--and I love it)! One of his goons already threatened me and probably vandalized my car. This job is GREAT. My wife says I should confront him and threaten police action, but I'm not sure I should.

I'm afraid my boss will be upset & maybe fire me. Do I confront him and warn him to leave me and mine alone, or let my wife handle it? (She says she'll tell my employer!). Work is everything to me...what if I get fired?

The Fugs were comprised of four members of the New York "Greenwich Village" scene during the '60's. They could definitely

be considered crude, but they were intelligent and very politically

aware, and really didn't seem to care if they were liked by the masses or not. They were more interested in voicing their opinions thru music. Almost all of their recorded works are out of print or hard to find,but I rarely(or if at all) see reviews about

My wife came of age in the Sexual Revolution and though she wasn't into drugs (she's almost 9 yrs. my senior), she DID enjoy Free Love. She's been faithful to me since even before we married, but still, it bothers me that she thought that way. Am I a stiff, or should I be worried that she'll eventually miss the old, Hippie days? If I question her, she says that having sex was, back the, "Just for fun" and didn't mean more than playing chess! Was it really that way? I find it hard to believe.

I know I should be more open-minded (My wife says "remember the HIppie days?) but I just cant' get past his "look": long 2-tone hair, tight pink/black shirts, tight jeans (like Punks) and sometimes makeup! AM I a dud or do I need to tell him what's what? Some kids think he's gay but he says he's not...(I dont' care...well, I DO!)...but that's not the point!

I know SEVERAL people whose answers to Oprah's question were deleted, for various "reason". Anyone else want to share their experience of NOT getting star treatment before this question is removed?

P.S. If you LOOOVE Oprah, that's your gig, don't put it here; she's already gotten enough exposure on this site!

Two weeks ago, I was in a major auto accident (not my fault, which makes it even worse). Some jerk hit me after running a light and after the initial shock and confusion, I feel almost constant rage and then sadness (and still confusion) and a feeling that I'm "coming apart"! I can't relax, can't "focus" and tho' I've been in counseling for awhile (for other stuff), my shrink doesn't have much useful info on what I can do.

My wife says I need to "let my feelings out", but I'm afraid to, and learn relaxation techniques, but to me, they're a waste of time I don't have and I'm not the "earthy-crunchy" type. I just want this to be over!

What can I do so I don't "explode"? (I don't really know what that means, but my feelings scare me)! Is this normal for people after accidents?

If I DON'T sue...I could lose everything! What should I do?

Even though I love her and am still attracted, I can't meet her emotional needs (sleeping in the same bed, cuddling). She thinks I thinks she's "gross", but not so!...but something us doesn't "click" anymore. How do I show her I still want her? The last "romantic" thing I did was get her Chinese food on her birthday. Is that okay...or am I screwed? We've been married for 15 years and have 1 kid. She's not talking to me right now..
