  • ball python feeding troubles...?

i know...this comes up quite often...

i have a little over a year old ball....he is a very...very....very stubborn eater. when i bought him about 2 and a half months ago he was about 205 grams. hes now 230g. only eaten twice. once a week after i got him and then 3 days after his shed about 4 weeks ago. temp is kept around 85f and humidity 55-64%, hes in a custom enclosure all sides are solid wood to block out the outside traffic(people walking around..etc...). feed him f/t. tried him on just a little bigger than rat pups. and tried mice. every time same thing. nothing. i've also tried putting a couple drops of tuna on the mice, putting it in his hides, leaving it in overnight, and still nothing. i've always hated doing this but also tried assist feeding but he would just keep on squirming and trying hard as hell to get away. any help would be appreciated. and i know how often this topic especially with this breed comes up. all my other ones ive had in the past were ( and the other 2 i have) always females, and a few of em stuck with live feeding, for the most part they didnt mind f/t.

  • Piebald python question?

Just recently picked one up at a convention. I've always wanted one. Its one of my favorite snakes and i love the morph. But price was always an issue. I picked mine up for a little under 400. He's about a year old. He looks really healthy. I couldn't pass up that offer. He was asking more but ended up offering to go down. Think anything could be up with that? Or just someone being nice...it was pretty obvious I was in love with it hahah.

  • small block chevy and powerglide?

I've got a 58 Chevy. When I bought it, it came with a 327 an powerglide. I got rid of the 327 and got a Goodwrench 350 an put a decent amount of work into it and I spoke to the guy I got the car from an he asked if I junked the adapter for the powerglide that was on the back of the 327. Which I did an he told me I need a new tranny now. Is that correct? I thought a Chevy engine an tranny doesn't need an adapter.
