Why do people disregard swimming as a sport?
I had this substitute teacher I thought was pretty cool. He was into football, and he asked one of my fellow swimmers if they were a swimmer. Naturally, they said yes, and he proceeded to state that swimming is not a sport, when it is clearly one of the best ones for you. I get that it is boring to watch, but those that call it gay clearly have no idea what the sport really is. We're nice people, for the most part. Why, society, why?
