A foreword, I trust and love my girlfriend completely, so this is not the issue.

My girlfriend has led a very troubled childhood, she has arthritis which is very painful for her, and her dad used to curse at her at random times, and she was picked on in school, leading her to probably become somewhat insecure. So.

She started having sex with one of her high school teachers (after she graduated) and he was like 5 years older than her. He used her for sex and left it at that, and she was hurt very much by this and wished she had not given him her 'first'. She then opened up an account on a dating website and started hooking up with guys (all of whom were 2-10 years older than she).

So, about two months ago, I asked her to delete them on Facebook, which she did. But when I asked her to delete their contact information she said, "I'm not going to do that, and you have to trust me on this. I might want to network with them in the future to help me find a job."

This is actually one of my few problems, otherwise I'm very happy with my girlfriend. And I'm actually very strongly planning on asking her to marry me, so I'm not in a 'casual relationship' by any stretch of the imagination.

My question to you girls is: how can I tell her that I'm uncomfortable with this? I want her to drop all of her negative previous experiences (especially, especially with guys who were *using her for sex*. They never wanted to make anything 'Facebook official' or anything. She's just got so many 'problems' like her arthritis or being overweight that they just decided she wasn't work it and just had sex with her.

It would be one thing if these were 'healthy relationships' that she had sex in, but these were people who were deliberately using her, and since they were so much older than her, there really can't be any doubt that that's really what was happening.

Am I being selfish, self-centered, or possessive?

I'm not worried about her cheating on me, and I trust her completely. And I'm quite sure she loves me. This is not an issue of trust, it's an issue of me thinking it's incredibly weird and really really strange and uncomfortable.

Is it reasonable for me to ask for deletion. OR, could I tell her my feelings, but say that since I already asked her this, that I'll leave it up to her, but tell her so she knows my feelings? OR --- what would you say?

So I just made a huge mistake - I bid $200 for a ipod on ebay, and the seller is making huge plans to contact ebay... which from my research looks pretty much like a permanent suspension.

Over the summer I had a job that paid $8/hour so that's about 2 and a half weeks worth of work we're looking at right there, not just $200. And also, I'm in college right now.

Would it be worth it to ignore this seller and risk a permanent suspension from ebay... I guess Amazon is still there.???

OK, so I'm 21, and this girl who is probably like 20-21ish and me were sitting side by side playing a card game - and she kept leaning slightly towards me and pressing her arm against mine but could have just been doing it in the excitement of the card game. I once put my hand on her arm and she didn't seem to mind, but after a while into the game she got up and went away as though she seemed disappointed.

Is there any program I can buy that will block nudity while I'm watching a movie?

Example: say I watch "The Shining" -- I want a program that will block the nude woman (like gray it out or something) but otherwise allow me to watch the rest of the movie UNBLOCKED.

I've played Runescape for the past 5 years (groan) and I got over 220 quest points (which makes me wonder if Oblivion might be the way to go (but WoW also has quests). I enjoy doing things with friends on games (but also my private time [connected to an in-game chatroom meanwhile]).

What I DON'T like is PvP very much (I generally lose in Runescape PvP fights because I can't think fast enough to switch all my weapons and attack styles (meele-magic-ranged) and keep attacking at the same time) == or is that unlike WoW style fighting?

Let's get to it though: do you recommend WoW or Oblivion for me?

On most peoples "Info" tabs under "Other" you'll see a link that says "Show Other Pages" - how come while it used to show like 20 for me now it only shows like 3-4.

Is there a difference between a "PAGE" and a "GROUP"?? Is there a way that I can get it so that my groups show under that part?? Or do I need to browse for "pages" to join and ignore groups??? Was this a recent facebook update (last 6 months or so??) because it used to be normal and now I can't find it on my profile anymore :(

Why do everyone seem to think Bush, Obama, Cheney, Lady Gaga, etc are in the Illuminati? I mean it's OK if they think one or two people are in it but to simply say: "oh yea, everyone that goes to some stupid mansion once a year or stuff like that".

I applied to (and was accepted to) both University of California, Davis and University of California, Berkeley.

I know UC Berkeley has a more famous name - but how much of that name comes from the fact that it has existed a hundred years more than Davis and that it has a very famous football team? Also, I will not be in a "renowned" program at either school.

I applied to the Philosophy major, and I might switch to English once I get there. I am applying from Diablo Valley College, a local community college with a fantastic transfer record, so I'm not worried about any of my courses not transferring over.

Can someone please leave an insightful answer to help me in deciding which college to go to? I like the fact that Davis doesn't have as many (almost none, in fact) homeless people, and while marijuana is smoked in both places, it's much more open in Berkeley.

Does anyone know about how easy it is to get a job after graduating from either place?

Did you go to, or know someone who went to, UC Berkeley or UC Davis? Did you/they like it or hate it there? Or just sort of like it/hate it?

I know a few people who have seemingly 'impeccable' taste who publicly "like" this terrible film on their Facebook pages. And these are people who are grad students, 'elite' girls who are "better than you are", and normal college students. Actually many of them happen to be girls.

Does the concept of sewing other people's mouths onto people's anuses appeal to modern students?? I mean I can understand people liking Zombieland or Shaun of the Dead, and *that* kind of horror movie... but *Human Centipede*???!!?
