I'm moving off campus this year into a house with 4 other guys. We plan on cooking 80% of our meals, and eat on campus for some meals. I personally would like to make most of my meals around grilled chicken due to it being cheap and relatively healthy. What are some common recipes you guys recommend to us? I love peppers and chick peas by the way.

Also, what are some common cooking/kitchen guidelines? From knife skills to storing meats. We're looking for any additional advice before we move in next week.

If you believe the Yankees buy championships then why do people complain when thier GM's don't land big name free agents. Just like when the Sox didn't get Teixeira, but then they boo him and the Yankees for buying championships when they tried to do the same thing. How can someone like Brett Myers not get ridiculed for being someone who makes MLB look somewhat bad while A-Rod gets ridiculed because he has a big ego. The guy punched his wife in public while A-Rod is selfish and opted out of his contract. So my mom's boss and her boyfriend are best friends with Joe Buck. The boyfriend can get tickets to any FOX baseball or football game but my mom doesn't feel like asking him because she doesn't really know him. Is there a way to ask her boss and her boyfriend in a good way so it doesn't seem desperate.

By the way, he got tickets to every Playoff game Buck is doing, not to mention the All Star Game. I mean like front row not upper deck.
