Best Individual Comeback (by 1 Player) in NBA History?
Ok. Why do people say Reggie Millers 8 points in 8.9 seconds is the best comeback in NBA history? I mean, it was amazing, but 2 of the three pointers he shot weren't really contested that well. I mean a player was standing their, but he didn't even jump to contest.
There is no question that Mcgrady's 13 points in 33 seconds is the best comeback in NBA history. Think about it, he was smothered on every shot he took and still was drillin threes like they were nothing. On top of that- over one of the premier defenders in the league in Bruce Bowen.
I watched Reggie's game and was going crazy when they won, but I have never witnessed anything like Mcgrady's performance in all my years watching sports. Did you guys see the faces of Duncan, Devin Brown, and Greg Pop after that last second shot by Tmac? Like, what the hell just happened? No doubt the greatest comeback in NBA history. Not even arguable. He was probably high as hell too lmao.

7 AnswersBasketball1 decade agoDeSean Jackson week 16 fantasy?
DeSean is going up against the Broncos stingy secondary. The Broncos need a win to sustain the final wild card slot for another week. I'm not sure how Philly will fare against an angry defense, especially with Brian Dawkins coming back to Philly (you know he'll play his heart out for sure). Jackson is obviously a big play maker, and the most important offensive weapon for the Eagles. But with Champ Baily, one of the top 3 corners in the game, shadowing him the whole game, I'm not sure how he'll fare. I'm certain McDanials and Dawkins will figure out a way to take Jackson out of the game, and eliminate his big play ability. Nevertheless, if Philly wants to win this game, Reid understands he has to get Jackson involved. So it wouldn't surprise me if Reid drew up a trick play for Jackson specifically for this game.
I'm skeptical if he'll contribute anything in the passing attack, but I'm not sure what to expect as far as punt returns/reverse runs/etc. Denver will let Champ play one on one with him over the middle of the field, but I fully expect Dawkins to hound him if he tries to go deep. He's certainly faster, but then again, it's Dawkins coming back to Philly.
Championship game. Big call. I have Santonio Holmes on my bench, who's playing a banged up Baltimore secondary that's been giving up one big play after another. I'm not sure how the weather will be, but I'm sure Big Ben will target him frequently, as he always seems to do in big games/clutch situations. I expect a score from Holmes this week, and if Ed Reed is out another week- you can count on it.
3 AnswersFantasy Sports1 decade agoWeek 12 Fantasy Sidney Rice or Desean Jackson?
Sidney Rice vs. Chicago: I think Rice will get his fair share of targets this week, but I think this is Peterson's game to dominate. I expect Peterson to run the ball effectively against Chicago's lackluster D who he always seems to tear it up against..and down the stetch when Minn is ahead to kill clock. Plus, Tillman is going to be gaurding Rice. Tillman does a good job on bigger bodied recievers like Rice, has a tougher time with quicker agile receivers. I predict about 5 catches, 74 yards.
Desean Jackson vs. Washington: I dunno I doubt Haynesworth or DeAngello Hall are playing for Washington. If not I think Jackson tears it up for sure. Without Haynesworth, Philly can run the ball decently, and double up on Carter for play actions. If they play he's still a good start. If Haynesworth plays, Philly will get stuffed on the run and more opportunities for Jackson. I like Washington to keep it surprisingly close as well. I predict about 5 catches, 108 yards, TD. 66 return yards. 1 rush 29 yards.
I need this week so lemme know what you guys think.
