DeSean Jackson week 16 fantasy?

DeSean is going up against the Broncos stingy secondary. The Broncos need a win to sustain the final wild card slot for another week. I'm not sure how Philly will fare against an angry defense, especially with Brian Dawkins coming back to Philly (you know he'll play his heart out for sure). Jackson is obviously a big play maker, and the most important offensive weapon for the Eagles. But with Champ Baily, one of the top 3 corners in the game, shadowing him the whole game, I'm not sure how he'll fare. I'm certain McDanials and Dawkins will figure out a way to take Jackson out of the game, and eliminate his big play ability. Nevertheless, if Philly wants to win this game, Reid understands he has to get Jackson involved. So it wouldn't surprise me if Reid drew up a trick play for Jackson specifically for this game.

I'm skeptical if he'll contribute anything in the passing attack, but I'm not sure what to expect as far as punt returns/reverse runs/etc. Denver will let Champ play one on one with him over the middle of the field, but I fully expect Dawkins to hound him if he tries to go deep. He's certainly faster, but then again, it's Dawkins coming back to Philly.

Championship game. Big call. I have Santonio Holmes on my bench, who's playing a banged up Baltimore secondary that's been giving up one big play after another. I'm not sure how the weather will be, but I'm sure Big Ben will target him frequently, as he always seems to do in big games/clutch situations. I expect a score from Holmes this week, and if Ed Reed is out another week- you can count on it.

Mike Wallace made that catch last week so you have to think BigBen will go to him 5-7 times. Ward will get 6-8, Miller will get a few and I'd say Holmes will have 5 tops for like 75yds. DeSean is playing this season for his Father who passed away before training camp. They gave Vick the courage award this week over Jackson and a bunch of other players that deserved it more. Keep Jackson in, I am. He'll have a chip on his shoulder about being passed up, plus hes basically unstoppable against most secondaries.

Play DeSean. All he does is make these good defenses look silly. EVERY time I watch an eagle game I hear the same thing. "How does he get that open?" Play him.

There are two players this year that you cannot "not" play this year no matter how unlikely it is that you think they will score. Joshua Cribbs and DeSean Jackson. Play him.
