i have windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit laptop dell inspiron n5010 i7 4GB RAM 1GB Graphics ATI RADEON HD 5650 western digital hard drives 320GB

I have two separate hard disks installed (no separate partitions) one(C:) (windows drive) of 58.9 GB and the other (D:) 229GB which add up to 288.9GB. Continue reading.

As the C: drive s smaller, i try to keep it empty and i had some 20GB free space in it. but recently after i tried to install Ubuntu side by side windows, i had some problems selecting the correct drive, so I mistakenly clicked C: drive and soon realized that and cancelled the installation and removed the live cd and restarted the pc, the disk size just became 49.8GB and the free space remaining became 4 GB, i was confused. i went to disk management and saw the disk space to be the same old 58.9GB but it shows differently on 'computer' after that i used the following programs to solve this issue

1. windows chkdsk

2. disk defragmentator (windows)

3. uniblue speed up my pc

4. uniblue registry booster

5. tune up utilities (free version)

6. pirform ccleaner

nothing really helped but the last one helped clear 500MB of disk space but the total disk space is still 49.8 GB

note: i wan't to avoid going to repair the whole computer because i don't want to loose all my data as i don't have an external had disk (please don't give me other methods of taking a backup) and the D: drive is working fine which hints that it is caused by the ubuntu installation

I borrowed the pc version of gears of war from my friend, i liked that game so i copied the contents of that disc on my pc. As it needs the disc in the tray to play the game, i made an iso file of it and after installation, i mounted that file on a virtual drive, but it still prompts the message insert the correct disc in the tray. while i had only 1 disc for installation and running

NOTE: my pc requirements are way above recommended my OS is windows 7 64 bit(it doesn't say anything about this)

my pc had windows xp, so i bought windows 7 home premium which is compitable with my pc. i was on a website and i downloaded a file which probably had a virus. my pc suddenly shut down without any warnings or message and it restarted. windows took me to some recovery folder (the black screen and white text) i chose the repair option and opened windows in safe mode. it boots windows 7 but just before startup it says windows will shut down your pc to protect the files, and it shuts down. there's and option in the dell boot log (which comes before startup) [F12] which says boot from CD/DVD drive. now i had got a windows xp cd free with my pc (distribution pack) so, should i put it in and install windows xp to eradicate that virus.

i am not sure about what virus that file has but it surely looks deadly

i had bought the game in December 2010 and first played the story mode. a few weeks before the DLC update release. i could easily play the multiplayer, it was slow but working, but ever since i downloaded the DLC update it says "you don't have necessary privileges to use xbox live network"

should i have gold subscription to play now onwards? i have heard some thing called "DLC redeem codes" plz give some info.

i have a problem with my old pc as its too out-dated and i cant play new games so i m thinking of buying a new pc with good specs but i m confused that a pc with a processor with more ghz is better or a one with lesser ghz as i have seen in pc ads. for ex. a PCs specs are "Intel Core i3 420M @3.6GHz" and another saying "Intel Core i7 720M@1.6GHz"if we see this in normal anyone can say 3.6GHz is greater than 1.6GHz but Intel rates the i7 processor more than i3. cann anyone explain, and what arethese terms 320M &720M?

but when i play the game it plays in a vert greasy manner, like, it hangs every second in way if i make the charectar move forward, it move s lik, he takes a step and then it pauses for half a second and then continues. hope you understand and reply

i have got a game add-on on my pc and i want to transfer it to my xbox360. i tried to do this with a USB flash drive. 1st i configured it with my xbox then put the game in it and plugged it back into the xbox. the problem is, it shows lesser available space but it shows no games or ad-dons in it.

does any of you know how can i get over this problem.

Note: my dad isn't allowing me to that add--on even i have enough money in pocket money. so pl. don't delete this question.

after falling and losing my health in assassin's creed 2 game i took medicines and cured my self the first health box has become red and i cannot regain that box even by going to the doctor or by taking medicines. has this occurred because i have used too many medicines or because I have lost my health too many times. please tell the reason and the solution ASAP.
